Thanks will check if this is the issue after i swap the leaking intercooler hose that was cracked. I have been losing power randomly but if i restart the car it will go back to full power. i have seen the code stuck actuator but maybe its just the boost leak that also can make the actuator not working correctly?
about to attempt this today. cleaned egr yesterday and the car is basically driving just as a 2.2 litre with no turbo. diagnostic just said low boost. should i be looking for breaks cracks or is it most likely the actuator ?? gonna strip eah bit diwn carefully and look but i couldnt repair the motherboard if its the electrical side
Thanks for watching. Well you need to make sure that there is no leak on the intercooler pipes first, then you can check if the car has more power with the maf disconnected, if it does then its a faulty maf, but ideally you should make a diagnosis with a capable computer and it would be a lot easier to determine what is wrong because even a faulty MAP, MAF, EGR, Turbo actuator, etc will make the car go in limp mode that is what youre experiencing.. Good luck
Thanks for the reply. I did diagnostics and it came back as fault code p0299 turbo underboost. Steipped it down as far as the turbo but havnt taken it off yet wiggled it about but there was no movement. Fault happed at 2200rpm and maf reading was 68g/s does it sound more life maf @@PSICompanyPerformance
@@PSICompanyPerformance im so close to getting it out but where the F are the last bolts holding the turbo in. ive taken the clip off on the exhaust side. taken the oil pipe off and the 3 bolts in the manifold what else is holding it on :(:(
Can i ask what codes you got woth this i have a vito randomly dropping into limp woth p2263 smoke tested and replaced boost and map arm is free to move actuator is next onthe list
@@PSICompanyPerformance mine is an electronic actuator, I've noticed it doesn't sweep when ignition is switched on, I'll be plugging into star later hopefully gives me some guided test functions
@@tomboud6591 in active tests ( in diag) it should allow you to position the arm at 20 40 60 80 100 per cent and as soon as you put ignition on the arm should adjust or sweep... good luck
@@PSICompanyPerformance i have problem when im going on some higher place with car, my car loose power and transmission stays in one gear, i tried everything and nothing didnt work, i thinking about to change actuator and turbo, also im suspicious on dpf sensor

boost leak will cause that exact problem.
good luck hope thats it

it sound as it is the turbo actuator if there is no boost leak.

no need to remove the turbo...
if you notice on the video i just remove the actuator and leave the turbo in place.

mine was showing turbo actuator and low boost codes.
is your turbo actuator electric or vacuum actuated?

I got p0243 and says turbo wastegate solenoid
What symptoms do u have with broken actuator motherboard?
@@hrv0.- thanks for watching.
The car is in limp mode with no power and the eml stays on and on diag it shows turbo actuator fault.
Good luck

@@PSICompanyPerformance yes, it says low boost pressure or turbocharger sensor
