I agree. I had a bed I didn't love for years. I was working for a colonial bed and breakfast, and when they closed they offered me whatever I wanted. I got the most beautiful canopy bed. They also gave me all of the Egyptian cotton sheets, down feather mattress topper, duvet, and pillows. I knew they were clean because it was my job to clean them. I bought a few 1940's chenille bedspreads, and vintage embroidered pillow cases, and I love my bed so much now. I was struggling to find decorative shams I liked so I made some out of an antique table cloth, and a chenille spread that had some damage.
So pretty princess.👸 I like a simple bedspread, it's very relaxing. The colors in the rug is so vibrant and pretty and the linens look luxurious. It's come together very nicely.

I also like all white linens and towels. Your bed looks lovely and the rug is to die for. I came across a beautiful pinkish wool rug at an estate sale. It was gorgeous. $60. I rolled it up and could not carry it down the stairs. No one there to help. I had to leave it. So disappointed.

So it becomes the main focal point of the room and you build around that. The rug adds rich warm tones of depth and dimension. Coordinates well with a crisp clean white look. When you went to look for pillows the store had a soft Rose pillow on the top shelf. I thought it would look pretty with the rug which has a bit of pink in it. I love the way your carpet looks!

I am planning on expanding my bedroom so I can have more room along with a full sized walk in shower since I want to age in place (I'm65) Anyway I already saw some sheets on Brooklinen's website that I am going to order.
