I thought of you today as I went out and about thrifting. One spot I hit some great items, the Goodwill in our town was bare bones. I did get a nice book and a vintage coffee tin, but I think I’d faint with happiness if I ever had a Value Village near me! Can’t wait for the makeover. The picture are gorgeous!

Oh goody a new project. Can't wait. Wow geraniums are so hardy, love their bright pop of colour in the garden. We are in autumn in Australia, have a bunch of bulbs to put down 🌷😘

Im redoing my place too, going to add in more English Tobacco Lounge stuff, leather, iron, brass, tapestries, just bought one with pheasants and a bunny on yesterday,, it's gorgeous and going over my sofa. I just love spending money LOL!
Once spring hits I am gonna have my hand at a tomato plant tree, never gardened on my own, and with my hip and back, not sure i can, but i bought some black garden edging that looks like iron but its plastic to keep the landlords lawn mower out of my flower bed this year!.🤨🥀🥀🥀
My sidewalk looks just like yours, we got blasted with the "Nor'easter" and are under a foot or so of snow, not as much as outlying counties because of being on the Lake Michigan, but, sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes its a very bad thing LOL!

@@mamabrooke Yes, I have a leather recliner a pretty caramel colored one with the button rivets all the way down both sides, its pretty,, wish I had a room full of that but at the cost I cant afford the sofas. Yesss, love the flowers, I am hopeful this year. :)

Mama Brooke, I went to a store yesterday about 30 minutes away from my house here in Ga named Value Village like the stores you go to hoping it was the same company. I think it is based on some of the same style in displays of items like I see in yours but it was so dissapointing in the amount of items for sale. Absolutely nothing like yours. It was so sad. They also don't have a senior's discount day because I asked when it was if they had one. After giving up hope of finding anything I came across 6 Limoges china dinner plates that are gorgeous for $1.25 each! Don't know if I'll go back. I have often thought of getting a bedside carafe set. Yours is so pretty. If I could ask, do you think mineral spirits would work to remove hardened grout on my tile from a bad tile job? Thank you!

You’re 100% right I’ve been watching too much American television and using slang. My daughter had a teacher that was from America and she kept telling her she was spelling colour wrong and I said no you’re spelling it wrong it’s spelt with a U not color Lol… loves have a fabulous day . I just googled and either way is not incorrect it’s a preference of choice just like America is the only country that spells colour without a U again a preference of choice . But I still agree with you the British pronunciation. England and the Scottish Lowlands, countries of the United Kingdom, are the birthplace of the English language so we will go with that .
