Crawling. Don't even know why anyone would care how slow these are. All of these machines are for grandpa to putt around the senior subdivision.

Crawling is a good word to describe them since that was the design goal of the bikes, to be great rock crawlers and climbers, not speed demons. The massive ground clearance and low seat height and center of gravity make them a blast to ride on steep rocky trails that larger/taller bikes would have trouble on. The reason I made this video is because I have a lot of people asking how much drag the jack shaft adds to the bikes and people were curious how they perform compared to a stock ATC110. I figured this video was a good way to answer everyone's questions and have some fun to boot. Here are some riding videos of the rocky trails we usually ride on. There is a XL600R on one of the videos that may be more to your liking. Thanks again and stay tuned! th-cam.com/video/zUWQt74DyZs/w-d-xo.html

Pretty cool. Would be interesting to see each bike WOT on a long straight-a-way and get a GPS top speed.

Yep, We definitely ran out of runway as soon as we hit 4th gear. The bikes are geared lower but I think top end would be pretty darn close. I'll get a top end video up some day, but my gut feeling is very close to a stock ATC110.

Great series, I've got a couple of old ATC basket cases that are in the process of becoming a fat tire bike. My thoughts Were to use the front forks for the swingarm everybody else was building or modifying one from a different bike. Now I've got fresh ideas for help. Thanks

nice footage! looks like you're using a new camera drone there? I plan to also implement drone footage into my videos as soon as my brother gets his drone operators license so we can legally film from the air.

    I. Still think what a bunch of wasted time to make bikes that already exists and a wasted of 3wheelers. I would be ashamed.

I hear what you're saying sir. Definitely not ashamed though, it was a good opportunity to take some rusted out and cracked frames that someone was going to haul to the dump and use them to improve my welding, body work, painting, and fabrication skills. No nice 3 wheelers were harmed in the making of these videos :) I will make a video in the near future comparing the Fat Cat to these bikes, both bikes have their benefits and drawbacks but they are very different bikes. Thanks again for the good video idea! I have a 1970 US90 3 wheeler restoration video coming up this summer that you may enjoy, so stay tuned!

Oddly I look at it differently, it is taking a somewhat useful machine and make it more useful by removing a wheel. Can't save them all. Lol

The blue bike especially. The back end of the frame was so rusted out from sitting buried in the mud for decades that the rear axle was just flopping around in the frame. Perfect project bike since it was going to the crusher before I saved it😁

@@BIGFOOTBIKESANDBREWS I'm all for what you're doing! I have both ATCs and bikes and one fat tire made from and ATC with a Predator 212 and a CVT - so much fun!

Thanks @cumminsscout. I dig them too. 😀 It's all good though. I can totally understand where some folks in the comments are coming from, especially if someone stumbled upon one of my videos for the first time, thinking I chopped up some nice, useable trikes. Its takes a few video views to see that the only Honda parts that were lost were some rusted out and cracked frames, bent forks, and shattered plastics that were destined for the crusher. Thanks again and glad you like them!
