    Dear Mr. Grease, You are
    certainly an "unbelievable" amount
    of knowledge. There cannot be
    many Farmers that would under-
    take such a repair. Such a very
    in depth repair, just to gain access
    to the problem area ! Very good
    explanation along the way. My
    Guy says He would be lost by now.
    Sincerely, Kathleen.

      Kathleen NAWALT Thank you very much. Part of the reason I did these videos is because I think alot of the city people I have talked to think Farmers and people in agriculture in general are lazy, and I am showing them otherwise.

    You are really a 5 star producer! Guys like you in the factories and in the field are what won WWII. America is just not making enough men that know how to work with dedication and purpose any longer. Too many out there only know how to stock a shelf or fry a potato these days. And they weigh in at about 1/2 that transmission. In my years designing, building and repairing I have had at least 300 employees, out if which only 4 or 5 knew how to work and see a job through.

    I set up a 250 gallon propane tank in the shop at work to deal with the used oil. I sucked a vacuum on the tank and we had a long hose with a hydraulic coupler on the end. We installed drip proof quick couplers in place of the drain plugs. It sure made servicing the trucks easy. We installed an air tank under the rear bumper of the service truck and use it the same way. You could also just plug on a quick coupler to the end and drop it in a bucket and it would suck the oil into the tank. To transfer the oil, we just put air pressure on the tank.

    love the o ring trick for the snap ring groove. I will try to remember this!

    Old John Deere must be twisting in his grave to see what his engineers are doing to make servicing a machine so difficult. Although I have 85,000 pounds of his machinery in yellow and they have never needed anything this serious in 20 years of use.

    Nothing wears out like a deere

    • @RRaucina
      @RRaucina 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They all wear out, and none of them give a damn about making them serviceable. That's the real problem

      @@RRaucina theyd rather have somebody take it to the dealer or make you buy a new machine before they let your work on it yourself

      I was wondering why they,re not helical although the teeth have obviously outlasted the clutches here

    • @RJ1999x
      @RJ1999x 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@robertlonsdale3826 they're not helical because it costs more to manufacture, both will last, one is quality one is cheap
