- Super Mario 64 Slider Remix -
The celebrate March 10, stylized as MAR10 day, we're taking 2024 to a whole new level with a song I can't believe I haven't remixed yet!
"Slider" is a musical composition first heard in Super Mario 64 composed by Koji Kondo. This soundtrack has since made in appearance in various Mario games; most notably Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario 3D World & Super Mario Bros. Wonder; also including Nintendo Land, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and even WarioWare: Move It!
As much as I wish I could have recorded footage from every game this song makes an appearance in, I just didn't have the time; I do apologize!! With the being said, please enjoy the continuous loops of Mario sliding down the three slides in Super Mario 64!

The intro is a reference to the Nintendo Land version of this theme! I loved the intro on that one so I tried implementing as best as I could haha, my apologies if it sounded awkward!!

I'm completely in love with the instrumentation here! That fast paced banjo throughout the remix is phenomenal! As usual, the creatively intricate percussion rhythms are on fire! Nothing hits like the Player2 treatment "sliding" into my ears! :D
Also, If you get the chance to check it out, I'm FINALLY back and releasing that track tomorrow that I hinted at over half a year ago. It may not be the same genre you normally cover, but this Mario remix is heavily inspired by you my friend! I love when the beat dropped at 2:11! That went so hard. Also loved the beginning jingle and the SFX you used at the end. Finally, i loved how Mario flew off the slide. It has nothing to do with the music, but i bet it has happened to all of us at least once!

Well if you have some time between your remixes, maybe you should give it a try, it's great. The original, not the remake. That remake removed all the charm and most of the challenge. It's been sanitized and that sucks.
@@ProducerPlayer2 Mario has great voicelines in Mario vs DK GBA (not really in the remake sadly though), and since I know you like implementing sound effects and all that in your remixes, I'd like to see how you would implement these funny voicelines.
