I have tried and tried to like Aura, but I can't get past that opening :( It's frustrating as this is a fragrance I want to love so much! Sadly, the opening reminds me of the soap bubbles scent from my childhood. Oh, well - by the way, I would absolutely love to see you do a review of L'air Du Temps and the original Chanel Coco EDP from 1984! Considering buying the latter, but it will have to be a blind buy as no shops sell it anymore here. Your channel is such a gem - your videos are the highlight of my day- I put the kettle on and savour another episode! I love that you review scents that they don't market anymore and the trips down memory lane! I wore Eden in the mid 90s as my signature scent! Your video makes me want to get out and smell it, although I haven't seen it in shops since the 90s in my country. Yes it is sweet from the vanilla. It has the sharp tartness combined with sweetness. I think it's the last best one from Mugler so stock up.on it, and choke your boss out lol 😆
Hmmm. You've hit a cord with me: there are scents that actually do BOTHER me. I don't understand them and they are, as you say, weird. But now I want to smell Eden! I have to admit that Aromatics is one of my favourite scents on the planet - ON OTHER PEOPLE. On me, Ryan hates it. On others it fills a room with a scent I just want to nuzzle into and stay beside forever. Thanks for the "rodents' pee" lesson. I had no idea, although my nose KNEW it. I grew to hate my Serge Lutens Baptime Du Feu. The dry down is actually pretty but the opening is awful. The first couple of times I wore it wasn't that bad, I thought this will just take a little getting used to...then it just disgusted me. Too bad. The notes sounded like it would be so interesting but fail. I really want to try Aura and Salome!
Aura fits the theme PERFECTLY! When I first wore it I was on a hike and it was magical but on other occasions it made me feel nauseous. Pass! Awesome video!
Hi Gabi! Missed you on the live yesterday. I like challenging fragrances but then i tried CK Obsession and Slava Zaitsev Maroussia. I have now learnt that anything with a note of civet is a no no for me. Its the only thing that shows up on my skin and that fecal scent is a huge no. Good video..
