I just ordered my first BJD and I'm going to make him into Fenris from Dragon Age. This tutorial is PERFECT for his armor! I'm so excited to get started
I really appreciate this tutorial and enjoyed seeing you create this very cool armour! I want to try it! I love the doll, too. Wow, is he ever handsome! The face turned out gorgeous! He needs an equally beautiful Princess to go rescue now!
I'm not sure because mine doesn't have an exact temperature scale, but I think I used the middle of the three heat settings (and my straightener isn't very hot overall). If you're not sure, just start at the lowest and turn it up if it doesn't seem hot enough; as long as you don't burn yourself, you can't really go wrong, I think! 😊💕
Saw your tutorial wow.. question if I want to send you an image for an armor for batman that I would like to recreate would you be able to tell me to make it looking like a 3D ? The image I have seems like foam was used. Not sure is killing me lol. Can i send it to you somehow so you can take a look at it? Thank you
I don’t know how I’d be able to help you beyond the information already in this tutorial. 😔 What are you having trouble with specifically? There are also lots of other foam armour tutorials on TH-cam that may help you with any particular problem. :)
I believe it is 2mm; it is just the typical craft foam used for kid's crafts etc. I think I still have some so I can also measure for you if you like 😊
@@tamakyuart thanks for quick reply, no thats absolutely fine I already have some 2mm so will go with that. Absolutely love your work your dolls are amazing 👍❤
Here's a suggestion, what is your birthstone? You should make a crystal gem from your birthstone. Mine is Aquamarine, which is on march. It's also associated with the sea, the stone helps sailors travel the seas without worry. What's yours?

@@tamakyuart it's an unbranded doll from Ebay, sold by Feikebella
Ah ok, it looks like that seller has mostly recasts, in case you’re not aware. :/

How hot do you set your air straightener?

What is the thickness of this foam please I thought maybe 2mm but could be 3?

If you can, try making a crystal gem fusion or make a costume from fnaf for someone.
I've already made Rainbow Quartz, and am definitely planning to make other fusions~ 😊
