You are a solid dude, Adam! Picking up other people's trash, keeping the beaches clean, helping people who are in trouble and might only have made it back with the help...The world needs more people like you in it! Sorry about your ski; my balls came up in my throat when I saw that!! But you know how the saying goes: no good deed goes unpunished. Oh... and yes, please, for more Maddie on the channel.
What I love about regular boaters or people that are on the water is that they always stop they always lend a hand. They always check in with people around them. Completely different vibe than you see on the highway.
You’re correct I have seen many people unhook and ride their ski into the water. I have never even considered it for one second to unhook my ski before it hits the water.
Yeah I've seen almost every type of boat on a bunk system unhooked prior to the water, I haven't ever just because I'm paranoid of something like this happening. Mostly bass boats like to unhook before the water and sometimes when the bunks are wet and the ramp is steep when they pull them out it can slide right off
When the bunks are dry they usually don't slide while backing, my dad fell into that trap and the first time he got a boat that came with s trailer that came with rollers instead of bunks he ended up dropping the boat on the ramp and like 10 different people helped him by lifting up the stern while he cranked it back onto the trailer needless to say he's never unhooked the safety chain before the boats in the water Again
You are awesome, helped people in need and kept your spirit up after your ski hit the concrete. I would have been so bummed out. I will learn from you. I love your spirit and who you are.
Thank you for using your platform to show people it’s ok to help those in need on the water, cleaning up after yourself, and, most importantly, just being a good person. I’ve been boating for 20+ years, and recently, it seems as a whole, people have moved away from the basics.
It feels good to help others and when you do help others it's best to find an Avenue for them to repay the kindness. This helps rebalance karma and turns their embarrassment into pride. I love what you're doing, cheers
I have gotten towed or been in a friends boat that had to get towed. Each time it took about an hour to get us back to the ramp. Of course, they wouldn't take any money for the help for the gas they burned towing us or the time taken. I think they accepted a couple of beers while we were being towed. And I towed in a couple of boats myself that were in trouble. People have to look out for each other, especially when you are stranded in 105 degree heat.
I bought my Explorer Pro 170 last year. The longest run we have done so far is 81 miles on a river. Fuel consumption is very important to us because we want to explore not refill the gas continuously. Cruising at 35 MPH we get 7.5 MPG. Cruising at about 47 we get a little over 6 MPG. With the 2 of us and a full load we have hit 57 miles per hour which is fast enough for a ski that is designed for comfort and distance. I would never consider a supercharged version. Always enjoy your videos and I am glad your new ski is okay.
similar story to you - I have the exact same ski Adam ended up towing! it is a 2007 n/a . Top speed is around 97 kmph (plenty fast for me) but the economy is good. Cruising at 40-50 kmph in theory I can get just 0ver 200kms out of a tank. Ive done longer rides but never been brave enought to run dry and usually top up around the 160km mark.
@@hardlylivin6602 I have never used eco mode.It should not have much of an impact on cruising. Probably will slow acceleration giving slightly better overall fuel consumption. I always have the front of the ski trimmed up all the way when cruising fast to minimize friction.
Bad things 100% come in 3's. I'm a volunteer firefighter and sometimes we go a while with out a call and as soon as we get 1 call, we get 2 others the same day. happens all the time haha. big props for helping those people out.
Always have to help fellow water users,we've al been there. End of the day mate,it's all about the smiles per gallon, there's no price on that, crack on. Look forward to the new adventures.
Welcome to the supercharged gang, Adam, and what a debut ride for the new toy! Shame to see the old 170 go, you'd made a masterpiece out of that ski. I hope some of those mods are salvageable for the 230. One mod you don't have yet (as far as I'm aware) and that I highly recommend is the X Package module, it's an OEM part that takes 2 minutes to plug in and zap-strap onto your air intake. It opens more range in the trim that isn't given to you by default, and it adds launch control, which sounds near useless for an Explorer, but the way it works means it's really good for just keeping the nose down while you're trying to get going with a lot of cargo along. If I were you, I'd keep an eye on the hull just to make sure it doesn't start to crack or delaminate, but you probably do that already with the way you beach those skis 😆
What a decent guy you are Adam. You really didn't deserve that bit of bad luck with your brand new Ski, I would probably have cried!! And I could feel your anger at that guy at the dock, what a knob!
Props to you Adam not just for being safe and prepared but for being a good human. As the old saying goes: "No good deed goes unpunnished." Sucks that you damaged your new Sea Doo, but good for you for doing the right thing. Appreciate you bro. 👍
that's a very sad accident. they always happen for a reason and 1 things causes another . i guess put it down to experience . you did a Awesome job with the rescues and averted a real tragedy bravo adam . hope to see more videos with your attractive team member. love the new machine
I forgot the drain plug on the maiden voyage of a fishing boat in minnesota. Launched boat. Parked truck, jogged back to the boat - only to find said boat with an alarming amount of water in it. Barely saved it from total sinking...
Yikes!! I also did a similar thing with my old SeaDoo jet boat apart from it was the flush port under the rear hatch. The one you plug the hose in to to flush the motor. Didn’t put the cap back on it after the previous owner showed me it running on the hose pipe and I took it out for a decent run…it felt a bit ‘heavy’ coming back to the trailer and when we got it out of the water and pulled the drain plugs it was gushing out. Luckily the water level didn’t quite get to the top of the battery but it was a close call!
Damn dude, at least the second ding won’t hurt as much. I put a dent on my new car for the same reason. Ur a very cool guy and I appreciate what you do in helping others
LOL what a day on the water. Every day on a boat is an adventure, whether it's getting to the water or on the water. Glad everyone was safe at the end of the day.
Just asking from which location did you start? Past Topock66??? Planning the same ride but coming from Harrahs...Ty... Can I make it with 1 full gas tank GP 1800SVHO 2021 AND 2023... Thank you so much.
Hey there Adam! I have watched every one of your videos on YT. Feel like I know you. Just want you to know that your videos come off like you are talking to me. Very natural, funny, and informative. Keep up the great work man. I look forward to more Sea Doo adventures in other rivers. Have you ever thought about possibly the Sacramento River down to San Francisco Bay? Seems like that would be right up your alley and kinda cool... You have inspired me to purchase a Sea Doo Explorer 230 this fall. Thanks brother!
Iv seen divers 100m at the bottom of the north sea wearing their rolex. The message over the radio from the dive sup was "take your F**king rolex off and maybe your hand will fit in" haha
Mate you are such a good egg helping people out , I absolutely felt for you when I saw the ski on the ramp, done it myself 😢, the guy that swamped u at the jetty when you towed the ladies back, what a tool. Great video, keep it up. 👍
Sad thing is we see that almost every weekend in Bullhead. Can count how many people we have to help to shore. Most have no knowledge on how to operate them safe. Also checkout Coveu in Bullhead they have a dock and great food! Safe to leave your ski or boat.
You are like an ambassador for life in the USA Adam, love the videos, love the cinematography and love your style. All round good guy, helping others when and wherever you can, and recognising things when its your fault ... I cringed when I saw the seadoo on its side.....
Hey Adam, You might know this but, when towing a PWC you need to pinch off the water supply line from the jet pump to the engine. I keep hose pinch pliers on board for towing. (Rounded jaws and latch to hold closed). If you don't, you risk flooding the engine. The water can get forced through the engine cooling passages and fill up the exhaust. Water can then go back into the engine through the exhaust valves. Tow very slowly if you can't block that line. Just a heads up for anyone who might not be aware.
Adam, I should really comment more on your videos. You make such incredible content. I have viewed every PM video since episode #1 and now I enjoy every AdamXX. So I am trying to do more to help promote your channel. You get a 👍🏼 and a share today. 🤣 keep living your best life!
I got explorer 230 and I absolutely love it!!!! It’s perfect for where I ride which is the Detroit river I feel very safe even when those 6’ waves are in front of me. This thing is huge!(13’) long so it’s extremely comfortable for a 6’4 guy like me also with the 230 engine I can keep up with everyone I ride with!!! Oh and I stool one side of the ski plenty times without it flipping and rode a lot without even getting wet. All I have is one question for seadoo.. When are you going to come out with the Seadoo “EXPLORER 325 DETROIT RIVER EDITION”? Lol
#5 - Consider installing a tow tap in your ski. You never know when you are going to need a tow and it can cause significant damage to your engine if you don't have one.
AWESOME video. Great stuff for helping other people. Glad your ski is ok and not damaged . Quick question, what sunglasses are you wearing? It's a cool design.
Well done on the rescue, Adam. I think the rental guy said the 400 pound guy was nowhere to be seen when the other guy rented. And then the girl's, you need blues and twos mate😁
When the ski is dry for launch it’s pretty sticky, but you got carpet soaked and normally you would not immediately relaunch. Broken bunk did not help.
Oh no, feel for yaou chap! No good deed & all that... 😊😖 Just bought a new GS 1250 ADV and they said 350 miles to run in?!?! It's been so long since I bought a new bike (last one was HD Street Glide) and i think it was 500 miles... time marches on... GREAT content as usual , beautiful cinematography, beautiful scenery, beautiful company, living your best life indeed chap! (& I agree with the Taco Bell comment!) keep it up 👏👍🤙🖖👌🤘✌🍻
Great job helping other watercraft riders on the river. After the Explorer Pro 230 fell off of the trailer and you put it back in the water you should check the condition of the rear step and the bilge for any water. Ride safe, ride smart, ride often!
The serious "I am SPEED" face then snapping your head over to look at the camera made me chuckle. I've done exactly the same thing on mine. Great channel. Question for a friend: how does one get sponsored by seadoo? haha
Wet trailer bunks = lower coefficient of friction = ski will slide off really easily! You are used to unhooking on dry bunks when you first get to the ramp, totally different situation. You live and learn
Isn't break-in more than just hours it's about heat cycling. Engine up to operating temp for a short time then let it cool down completely and repeat several times. Much easier to do on a motorcycle.
I did something similarly bonehead w my new 22 VXHO after break in. Yamaha used to have the stop engine on the left and start on the right and that was what my muscle memory was sorta used to. On my new ski, the left is (cruise / no wake) and (start / stop) is one button on the right. When I gently got near the dock, I hit the no wake (that I thought was stop and held it thinking it was broken..lol) and scratched the bottom a bit. ended up super slicking it anyway as the hull paint on these isn't great.
Nice video and content Adam, what I take away from it is that it is very easy to get in trouble or do damage when you get out of your routine. I would have unhooked the ski as well, but it is so easy to get into trouble by helping others. Anyway, commiserations, great trip and at least not boring, I would have done the same helping people 🙂
Damn it boiiiii. That sucked. What a trip. Anyways. Question. 170 or 230. Why?????? I want one. I live at the gulf. Galveston area. Surfside Texas. 🙏 love the channel. Also when I do get one. How do I get that new rack in the front you mounted on yours. FreKing Awsome. U have that toy that I would definitely call my baby. 😂 🎉
@@AdamSwords May I ask why? Pretty much the same. I seen all your adventures and I don’t know what to get. I noticed I have the 230 now. From all your adventures. You still pick the 170? I’m just going to use it for some exploring. But a lot of fishing.
Hey because your a Honest upfront dude & take responsibility your your actions I’m gonna give your a Subscribe! Thank you for helping people. And pointing out how Some PWC people can be very irresponsible. It’s frustrating as a Boater to constantly come in contact with the type of people featured in your video.
Great episode Adam and very eventfull too 😁 😎 always look forward every week to watching them, keep up the fab content dude, big love from the Isle of Man 🇮🇲 💙
So a day out on the water, two rescues and a boat ramp mishap. Pretty ordinary day out wouldn't you say! Good on you for helping folks. It's a binding social contact to render aim; what goes around comes around!
I was chilling on the river at the Willow Valley Marina a few days ago - pretty sure I saw you guys go down and back. How do you like that ski? How far can you go on a tank? My pops has a GPR1800 I rip but looking at doing distance
Hey Adam how long did it take to get from Havasu to the Damm? Note get gas on the river. Looks like a great ride tho. I love my Gtr 230 does drink some gas tho.
Ouch! I feel ur pain brotha. When I bought my new cbr600 took it for a text ride. Came back to the dealer stopped right where a gutter running thru the parking lot was stepped down wrong and plunk dropped my new bike standing still. Thankfully it was the only time it hit the ground. Hope to see u in Havasu late July🍻💃🏼
ahh brother that makes me cringe.....and is exactly why I never unhitch my ski when Im backing down into the water. Things happen and looks like it turned out ok though! Youre a good dude for helping everyone! Keep it up.
All these extra views maddie is going to bring you you should buy her a ski lol . I have a 2012 yamaha sho supercharged and i love exploring on it . Glad i ran across your channel
Adam, great video, you certainly take rides in beautiful places . Watching your video has made it quite apparent to me that the Explorer 170 wouldn't suit my aggressive riding style, the 230 would be adequate on long group rides I suppose. I would definitely prefer the higher fuel consuming 230. I'm not a fan of the Windscreen. I mostly ride on Galveston Bay, the Texas Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico on my 2015 GTX iS 260 Limited with 230 Hours. Unfortunately Sea Doo hasn't built a Ski with Suspension since 2016? I perform all of the repairs on all of my Vehicles being only 68 and a retired Professional Wrench. BTW: I find my Suspension Ski way easier to work on than modern day European Cars. Randy AKA randog311
First time watching and thought you would have gone ballistic, but you are giga chill. You need some permanent flip flops on board so you can always have shoes when getting on land. I was skipping around and may have missed it but show the damage in another video.
I live at Havasu, getting used to a Wave runner FX , post pontoon.. a comedy of errors even though I had a Sea Doo 4 yrs. ago. Hope I see y'all out there (I'll stay on board and out of the way).. lol
I was at the river this past weekend and we stopped at Topoc. The dock seemed really wobbly when we got off the boat then we got back to the boat and were walking up the dock to get back on the boat, SNAP! The dang dock broke off under our feet! 😮. Grandsons and my daughter were in front so they had already gotten into the boat, son-in-law jumped into the boat as it broke but I fell into the side of the boat, holding on the top rails of the boat top as the dock was rolling over. Got really bruised up when I hit the side of the boat on my right side and they had to pull me into the boat, it’s a large pontoon, but at least the grandkids and boat were ok 👍🏼 😅. Afterward, I’ve read Topoc has had a lot of trouble with broken docks lately so be careful docking there.
@@AdamSwords Thanks, Actually I think I hurt my side more than I thought. I’ve had a bad pain on right side since then, it’s been over a week. Called doctor today and he wants me to have an xray tomorrow to make sure I don’t have any cracked ribs 🤞That’s what happens when a 64 year old women falls into the side of a pontoon when the dock flips over 😢😉😄. But it was an adventure for sure 😉. Gotta find the positive😄. And it is a weird story I’ll always have.
Un hooking is not an issue. I do it everytime I launch. The issue was the driver not knowing how to properly back up and launch a boat. If they were actually experienced this would not have happened.
@@AdamSwords Bro I wrote this comment hoping you would heart it. The minute I post it you have already hearted it and replied! That is crazy fast! Thank you and please make more Seadoo videos.
@@AdamSwords Thanks, found the brand, but cant find yours on their website. I have a Seadoo one similar, with the extra pockets etc but looking for an upgrade like your model. Do you happen to know the model please. Thx.
Ok you ready bro? You back it up the the water kind hooked to the wenchZ then get out unhook it and the let some hammerhead back it in you will never have an issue it’s not long enough for them to get sideways and it’s not a risk because the ski drops in the water if there’s an issue not the concrete. Problem solved!
I constantly see people complaining sea doos hulls are weak and it always makes me worry about mine... but considering yours fell straight onto concrete and is mostly fine is pretty impressive to me.
I would only get the N/A model because its better on gas. We are here to enjoy the ride, no need to speed through it. If i wanted to go fast i would get the 325

Adam rescue service! Nice to know there is people on the water like you bro!
Haha!
OH man you took it well I am like a crazy man if stuff like that happens. Thanks for Sharing the ups and downs!!
Haha yeah I get it, I was definitely having to talk myself down at first!
What model GARMIN is that on your ski? I want to add one to my gtx IS 260
Wow this was a crazy adventure. Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
AWESOME video. Great stuff for helping other people. Glad your ski is ok and not damaged . Quick question, what sunglasses are you wearing? It's a cool design.
They’re Bomber Clutch glasses. I have a discount code if you want a pair: SWORDS

Well done on the rescue, Adam. I think the rental guy said the 400 pound guy was nowhere to be seen when the other guy rented. And then the girl's, you need blues and twos mate😁
Yeah but like I said, he’s wearing the same life jacket as his mate, which would have been given to them at the dock when they put you on the ski.
@@AdamSwords I guess irresponsible greedy renters then
When the ski is dry for launch it’s pretty sticky, but you got carpet soaked and normally you would not immediately relaunch. Broken bunk did not help.
Exactly
Just curious where you put in for your trip?
State park
Luckily 400 pounders don’t sink. 😂
Thanks for the valuable lesson re unfamiliar trailer and driver.
Oh no, feel for yaou chap! No good deed & all that... 😊😖
Just bought a new GS 1250 ADV and they said 350 miles to run in?!?! It's been so long since I bought a new bike (last one was HD Street Glide) and i think it was 500 miles... time marches on...
GREAT content as usual , beautiful cinematography, beautiful scenery, beautiful company, living your best life indeed chap! (& I agree with the Taco Bell comment!) keep it up 👏👍🤙🖖👌🤘✌🍻
350 seems reasonable! Time for a road trip!
@@AdamSwords Yep, Germany/Austria end of next month for 11 days 👍👍😀
Great job helping other watercraft riders on the river. After the Explorer Pro 230 fell off of the trailer and you put it back in the water you should check the condition of the rear step and the bilge for any water. Ride safe, ride smart, ride often!
I did, it’s all good :)
Bro is livin the dream ☀️ 🌊
Doing my best!
We do it during races too sometimes but yeah, never again lol
Ouch! Yeah I’m looking to do my hulls yoo
This is what I call a "learning moment."
Sure was
Nice video and content Adam, what I take away from it is that it is very easy to get in trouble or do damage when you get out of your routine. I would have unhooked the ski as well, but it is so easy to get into trouble by helping others. Anyway, commiserations, great trip and at least not boring, I would have done the same helping people 🙂
Thank you mark!
What a day Adam, good you were around to help where needed
🫡
Swordski down...no good deed goes unpunished brother...ur a very kind dude keep doing what u do.
I appreciate that
Damn it boiiiii. That sucked. What a trip. Anyways. Question. 170 or 230. Why?????? I want one. I live at the gulf. Galveston area. Surfside Texas. 🙏 love the channel. Also when I do get one. How do I get that new rack in the front you mounted on yours. FreKing Awsome. U have that toy that I would definitely call my baby. 😂 🎉
170
@@AdamSwords May I ask why? Pretty much the same. I seen all your adventures and I don’t know what to get. I noticed I have the 230 now. From all your adventures. You still pick the 170? I’m just going to use it for some exploring. But a lot of fishing.
was just out there in laughlin a few days ago always a good time🤙🤙
Was it? Lol
@@AdamSwords lmao,yeah
I’m glad!
I appreciate the sub! Thank you :)
Great episode Adam and very eventfull too 😁 😎 always look forward every week to watching them, keep up the fab content dude, big love from the Isle of Man 🇮🇲 💙
Thank you Colin!
Captain Adam to the rescue.... Awesome content 🎉 Gods continue hedge of protection around you & you're adventures ❤
Thanks!
Yup you probably did! If you want long range do the explorer 170. If you take an extra 15 gallons with you it’s possible to do 150-175 miles
@@AdamSwords Thanks for the info bro. How quick is the 170?
Quick enough and tops out at 55
Hey Adam how long did it take to get from Havasu to the Damm? Note get gas on the river. Looks like a great ride tho. I love my Gtr 230 does drink some gas tho.
If you don’t stop like I did, you can do it in around 2 and a half hours.
How do you guys get away with not having registration numbers? I don't get that. Is it like a manufacturer deal or something?
It should have them, mine just hadn’t showed up. I had all my paperwork thougy
Ugh the worst!! See you out here!
ahh brother that makes me cringe.....and is exactly why I never unhitch my ski when Im backing down into the water. Things happen and looks like it turned out ok though! Youre a good dude for helping everyone! Keep it up.
Tell me about it
All these extra views maddie is going to bring you you should buy her a ski lol . I have a 2012 yamaha sho supercharged and i love exploring on it . Glad i ran across your channel
Haha she has her own
Sending good vibes from Rochdale England "up north" cheer's Adam and diesel x
Cheers mate! Say hi to Ronnie for me
Adam, great video, you certainly take rides in beautiful places .
What a great adventure. I guess luck doesn’t come into it but what a life you are leading. It would be nice to see around your new home location.
Life sure is good :)
First time watching and thought you would have gone ballistic, but you are giga chill. You need some permanent flip flops on board so you can always have shoes when getting on land. I was skipping around and may have missed it but show the damage in another video.
I’ll try to remember for the next video
I live at Havasu, getting used to a Wave runner FX , post pontoon.. a comedy of errors even though
I had a Sea Doo 4 yrs. ago. Hope I see y'all out there (I'll stay on board and out of the way).. lol
Make sure you say hi!
Oh no that’s awful! Glad you weren’t too hurt
And it is a weird story I’ll always have.
dude! you cant catch a break around here! great video man, you got yourself a like and a new subscriber!
Thank you!
Un hooking is not an issue. I do it everytime I launch. The issue was the driver not knowing how to properly back up and launch a boat. If they were actually experienced this would not have happened.
I agree…
SeaDoo saviour.
😂🫡
Never ever un hook ever until your in the water 😂
I know that now haha
Thats a real nice seadoo!
Thanks!
@@AdamSwords Bro I wrote this comment hoping you would heart it. The minute I post it you have already hearted it and replied! That is crazy fast! Thank you and please make more Seadoo videos.
@@AdamSwords your welcome!
More SeaDoo videos coming I promise!
@@AdamSwords yay!
Loved the video Adam. How that 400+lb Guy thought he could jet skee is beyond me! Nice to see you wearing the Deepsea M8. Cheers, John.
I know! Thanks mate
I got a 96 seadoo gtx and also a 2014 rxp-x 260 supercharged. And to be honest my old seadoo is just a fun as my rxp 😊
They’re all epic!
Anyone know where to get that PFD from? Thanks.
Mustang survival
@@AdamSwords Thanks, found the brand, but cant find yours on their website. I have a Seadoo one similar, with the extra pockets etc but looking for an upgrade like your model. Do you happen to know the model please. Thx.

See those dry launches a few times a month in summer at the local ramps.
I'd kill to do this , I've been jetsking twice in my life and I loved it.
It’s so much fun
Ok you ready bro? You back it up the the water kind hooked to the wenchZ then get out unhook it and the let some hammerhead back it in you will never have an issue it’s not long enough for them to get sideways and it’s not a risk because the ski drops in the water if there’s an issue not the concrete. Problem solved!
Hey Adam......No good deed goes unpunished....damn it. That sucks. Hope to see you at the Mark Hahn 2025. Cheers my friend.
Cheers!
I constantly see people complaining sea doos hulls are weak and it always makes me worry about mine... but considering yours fell straight onto concrete and is mostly fine is pretty impressive to me.
Haha yeah they’re tough dude. There’s lots of shaven apes on the forums that probably ride them like they’re rentals.
Great video Adam. That rental company was crazy to rent that ski out to those guys
Agreed
Totally agree 💯 with you Adam on the rentals. I ride that area north of Avi, those rentals are dangerous. I stay away from them on the water.
Yup 100%
I would only get the N/A model because its better on gas. We are here to enjoy the ride, no need to speed through it. If i wanted to go fast i would get the 325
I agree entirely
Never unhook ur front strap till ur front strap is at the water line so back tires are in water cuz that will happen on a lot of launches.
Yeah never again lol
@@AdamSwords yeah I dropped my first 18ft boat at a new York launch lol so you live and learn hahahaha
Damn 😬
Get producer Michael out there with a Speedo on 😆
I got rear ended when my ski hit 5 hours. I feel your pain.
Damn :(
You should definitely get her on board 🏴
She’s my first mate 😉
