Turkey is doing great in drones. Other countries have better drones but too much pricier. Turkey drones are the bests for its price and you can deploy more of them overwhelming defenses or enemies

I find the max altitude figure very unlikely, that’s over 47,000 feet in altitude which is a hell of a lot higher than commercial airliners typically fly at, and approaching the altitude of fighter aircraft but using a propeller. It’s also above the altitude that typical normally aspired engines can function at.

sure, i didn't build this but this is a very simple principle: the rotors don't even gimbal. In a traditional quadcopter, each rotor's thrust can be varied independently to control lift, pitch, roll, and yaw. Gimballed rotors enhance this capability by allowing the direction of the thrust to be changed, which improves the drone's ability to maneuver and stabilize itself under different conditions.Adding a fifth rotor increases the mechanical complexity of the drone. This extra rotor not only adds weight but also requires additional power and control systems to operate. The increased weight could negatively impact the flight time and agility of the quadcopter.
You didn't understand anything, the drone takes off/lands in electric mode and then switches to 50cc "special fuel" thermal mode, the optronic camera is not a gopro but a very high technology on its own, I'm sure you don't know that this kind of cameras needs a cooling system, If it's as simple as you describe, all countries, even the poorest, would have the manufacturing capacity.

Baykar, ask an Indian what it means.. 😂😂 These drones were successful at the start of Ukraine war. Later on they were just target practice for Russians. Ukraine stopped buying them.
Drone is a open source tech, isn’t it pretty much evident most countries have similar techs already. The flight mechanics has already been developed years ago, with vertical take off and propulsion blades at the hind, the camera and the AI is such a similar tech.
It would only be cool if it could carry higher pay loads, jammers, lasers, perpetual charging for endurance flight, auto recognition and scenario protocols , radar invisibility.

It is easy if you can detect it. Look at the profile of the drone and guess its RCS. It is probably stealhier than F-35 with less than 0.01 m2 RCS.

Why does this drone even exist?
There is a reason it is not a thing in aviation. It limits the max cargo, reduces battery charge, requires stronger motors, adds in complexities and range. This goes against the strategy behind drones: trade quality and money for quantity. Give me lots of drones that is worth less than enemies' shots.

Actually, the technology behind many military grade stuff are kept as secret and countries would keep it to themselves, even between NATO countries.
However, in case of joint ventures/projects, technology sharing to a certain degree could happen.
For ex, I'd say that when Turkiye was part of F-35 program, they gained some important production techniques and built some components for the F-35 fighter. But the main beneficiary for that was TAI (Turkish Aerospace Industries), not Baykar.
Baykar developed many of the capabilities themselves through investments to R&D and ability to hire skilled engineers.
Joint ventures in the past decades gave them huge industrial experience.

Majority of drone can do vertical takeoff and landing, even the cheapest non military drone. If some military drone could not do the VTOL it's merely by its design, related to launch mechanism and purposes, not by technical limitations. Turkiye's most undeservedly praised product. Despite its large size, it has a payload capacity of 3-5 kg. Baykar should have done much better in this class. For Turkiye, which develops high-altitude air defense systems, heavy class torpedoes and unmanned combat aircraft....., to develop such an amateurish product is nothing to be proud of, friends. Wing is for efficient lift during forward flight using thrust propeller. The lift propellers are for vertical take off & landing only.

VITOL ie vertical take off & landing means the drone can be carried & used in naval carrier ship to long distance near to operational area. A drone having VITOL characterstics can easily take off & land from a carrier in view of short space of the deck of the carrier vessel.
