Well a Vmax is in a totally different category of motorcycles so it makes perfect sense seeing as how they are at complete opposite ends of the spectrum. The Yamaha Vmax is a completely different animal compared to 99.99% of other bikes lol
Sweet ride...mods looking good..I’m on the fence w the roadster and Triumph bobber..decisions decisions..haha I’m 6’ 250 and not sure I’ll look right on this frame..safe riding out there!
Mark Gamble I’m sure you know but just be real careful not to hit the tank with the mirrors when you flip them. I did everything tight but moveable and set them up just right before tightening down.
Revvin the 417 I went fairly cheap on the exhaust and intake but I hear great things about them so we will see! Funny that you turned me on to the Danmoto exhaust! Can't wait to learn the FP3 tuner!!!
Is that one yours in the video on your channel? If so, it's looking great!! Come join our Facebook group if you haven't already. Just search Harley Davidson Roadster Owners XL1200CX and if you request I'll add you. Would like to see some pics of your Roadster on there!
William Velez here is the link to Amazon. The logo has like a 3m tape type stuff and comes with it! It's $30.00 on Amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00QWVKKL0/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Julio Cuarezma did the same to my roadster. And I like it a lot. I can actually see behind myself now. With them right ride up I couldn’t see past my shoulders
If you want a low bike, don't buy a Roadster. They are built to handle so they have the highest ground and seat of all the Sportsters. Super cool bikes, but if you want a low Sportster the 48 is where it's at!
Looks really good. Slowly working on mine as well. Just flipped my mirrors today but I can't for the life of me get the left mirror in a position that let's me see anything other than my knee or the ground, did you have that issue? The only solution I can think of is tilt the lever clusters forward/down.
michael harris I’ve heard of people having those issues but for me I could see way better. I kinda tilted the mirror upward a bit. I’m 5’7 though and maybe if you are taller there could be an issue?
streetstunna600 5'10" and I find it weird as to how bad the angle is. Other than leaning the controls forward more, I rotated the mirrors to where the narrow end is towards the tank. Doesn't look bad but doesn't look quite right. But it does give me the angle I need till I figure something else out
Mark Gamble For me, I can see way better. Others in my XL1200CX Facebook group say they can’t see anything with them flipped. I feel that they are doing it wrong though.
Can't wait to get mines getting rid of my fz07 to get the roadster. Do the breaks on da roadster squeak loudly? Few reviews I saw that's the main thing they complained about.
TrotaII I took them off and put the left on the right side and the right on the left side upside down. Your blinkers will move out of the way if you push them. You can also loosen up the blinker mounts and readjust them. I adjusted the mirrors slightly up ward and I personally could see really well. Some people complain about not being able to see. I could see better though. Be careful when you mount them to make sure they don’t hit the tank on either side. Go real slow and make sure they don’t hit then tighten them and recheck. Side to side. I think the right side is really close. Like a fingers width and the left side is 2 inches away if I remember right.
ToxicDonut81 Well yeah... Grey sticks out and looks absolutely horrible... Black makes it blend in much better. Anyways, that intake was done temporarily.. New Arlen Ness is going to be here Monday and my new exhaust is coming today. Already got the stock exhaust off the bike and waiting on UPS.
I had many Sportsters thru the years, then in 05 bought a new VMAX, what an amazing difference!

That’s not even a fair comparison lol. Vmax is on its own league bro
Nice mod. Clean and badass at the same time

Going to try that way. Cause a bit of my shoulders are blocking in stock form.thanks

Lookin good.
I am going to test how well the XIED's work with a stage 1 kit. Still haven't entirely decided on an intake.

Looks fresh, I've done a few mods to mine but not sure what exhaust to go with.

Yes it is, joining now.
rikroc85 Rineharts have a nice exhaust:)
did you get a hyperflash after you installed the led light?
did you paint your air filter black or yuo bought a different cover?
Where did you get the Chin Spoiler? HD wants $200 I think. I've seen them dirt cheap. Yours has the HD logo.

How do you like the mirrors down low compared to stock?
Julio Cuarezma did the same to my roadster. And I like it a lot. I can actually see behind myself now. With them right ride up I couldn’t see past my shoulders
How did you get the mirrors under the bars?
Nice bike buddy. I have the same one. Looking for ways to safely lower it a couple of inches, any ideas?

michael harris I’ll sub to you. Post a video. Are you on my Facebook XL1200CX group by chance?
Is rear vision better with mirrors fliped. I have to move shoulders a bit to get clear view with them on too

Crazy781x sweet! Mine doesn't have that issue yet. Some other have complained though.
streetstunna600 hey u think in ur next video u can post the links to all ur upgrades where u got them from .
Crazy781x In the description of my Roadster mods video I made when I first got everything I should have part numbers listed.
streetstunna600 sweet man thanks just noticed
Crazy781x If I forgot to cover something, let me know bud! I'll get you the information!
Where did you get the black headlight ring?
That's actually from the Harley dealer bud. I think I have a few other videos of other parts I bought for that bike as well. Thanks for watching!
How did you turn yours mirrors down?

Top speed of this bike, anyone please ?
Like 120? Not really built for speed. They handle well enough.
So now you have a butt-ugly air cleaner in black rather than a butt-ugly air cleaner in grey. Top investment, congrats.

this should be a no mod lol I have the same bike hahaha gtfo
Yeah man, gotta mod these little guys to make them great again!
Post a video of yours on your channel!!!
