moving saves USED to be a nightmare but use Mega cloud storage. The free account give you 50Gb for free forever TLDR, you can chose which file goes where and when, like every time it writes to the .sav on any device it'll upload the new save to the cloud and you can configure the desktop clint to auto download every time theirs a new write to the cloud storage. If you write a new .sav at the same time you could maybe screw it up but just dont do that..
I tried doing something like this with Google Drive but either I wasn’t able to figure it out or Google Drive just can’t really do something like that but this is giving me a option. Something else to think about when it comes to moving saves
Like the video. I would love your advice about something. I recently bought the Ally and wish the battery life was better. I like the device but barely get an hour playing games like Fortnite, Baldur's Gate 3, Rocket League. I wish it had more life. I have been thinking of just making that device one I play in bed or getting a big battery pack. I am curious on getting something else as well with more battery life. I am torn between Odin 2 Pro and playing games I grew up on on things like ps2 and other systems and what not or getting a steam deck oled so i can still play some pc games and emulating as well. I miss playing games like Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, Classic Spider mans and more. I haven't done much emulation besides a tiny bit on my phone like 10 years ago in high school lol with only gba and n64, I know a lot has changed since then. What would you recommend? Odin 2 Pro or SD Oled or just a massive battery pack for the Ally and if a battery pack whats a good one? Please let me know. Thanks. Also subscribed and will check out more content :D
Personally, if I was in your position, I would get just a big battery bank because that’s what I did my steam deck because yes the steam deck oled will have a better battery life than your ally it won’t be so much so that it changes the experience drastically and all the hoops you have to go through to get games like Fortnite to run on the steam deck might be just too annoying for you to consider. the Oden 2 is a great device you can get it pretty cheap in comparison and it can emulate all the same things so realistically, the cheapest solution is to maximize what you currently have which is the ally so you could spend like 70 80 bucks on like a good big battery bank and install eumdeck for your ally and make emulation super easy then your all good no reason why I have all these devices and I just keep using stuff like the Oden is that I make Contant out of it if I only had one device similarly to you I would try to get the most out of that one device I can and if you really wanted a separate device for emulation, I would recommend something cheaper you can get devices like the rg556 it can emulate PS2 games retro pocket 4+ etc hopefully this helps though
It does help. I ordered a battery pack last night but i also want to get the odin 2 pro. I can focus on emulation with the odin 2 pro for travel and some emulation on the ally. How hard is it to setup emulation nowadays on both windows and also android, what programs do you use? Appreciate all the input. @JustSomeJacob
After watching this video, I’m still in a dilemma whether the odin 2/pro or the nintendo switch is the better choice. Basically the goals is that I want something that can play all the nintendo pokemon games and psp but now that switch emulation has problems. Idk which is a better purchase. I can mod the nintendo switch but then again I’m scared of messing it up or maybe mod might not do justice to do well for all emulations. Or should I wait for the new nintendo switch and mod it?
Nice video I just bought a cold grey model purely for the color. What would be your take on input latency on PS2 vs GC vs 3DS? I read that switch is the worst regarding input latency.
So far so good. I mainly play ps2, switch, and GC. No latency even when I use the skull co dock with a ps5 controller via Bluetooth ( sound doesn’t work via cable) it works great I’m really happy about it. Metroid dread had minor graphical glitches but I played half the game on my oled tv and other half in handheld mode and had a great time.
I use an oden 2 base model the only difference separating all the other models of Oden is the amount of ram they have starting with 8 pro has 12 and max has 16 the extra ram doesn’t really do all that much to increase performance and for switch emulation I have an old build of yuzu installed that have saved from before Nintendo killed it at the time Nintendo killed it. My version of yuzu I had saved was probably for five months old.
ya that feeling sucks and it foreces you buy things right when they come out but Ayn is good at not releasing things close to each other the at lest there android devices their windows things are another story so i would worry to much if i had to guess the odin 3 would come out late this year or eraly next year
This aged well, because now we have the Odin mini. Now I do not know which one to get, next thing you know, there will be an additional Odin device by the end of this year lol
@@e__b956 I would agree that it didn’t super well, but stripping down the mini and the standard Odin 2 they are functionally the same both using the same as snapdragon 8+ GEN 2 soc so the overall experience in terms of performance should be the same just it’s visually different on top of that they sell for the same exact price. Technically the base Odin has been on sale perpetually for 300 bucks for a while now making it $39 cheaper. so basically by the Oden too if you want the best bang for your buck and if you want something smaller, more portable with a really nice screen get the mini
@JustSomeJacob Yea, that is the plan. The odin mini does have pretty much the same specs, just smaller. The battery life is not as good as the odin 2 either, so at the end of the day, it comes down to that.

How is it pointless? Cuas eof the Steam deck? Odin 2 is better for pure emulation of retro games. 8000 mh battery. It's longer than double of the steam deck. It comes with all the games you'll want essentially. Including an interface. it's also far smaller, and not huge and bulky like the steam deck.
@@TheRandomDude-qy1ev you can even do emulation on your phone these days, hence my statement. There're also lots of cheaper options for emulation out there

Great video! Just a quick suggestion could you add the name of the games you are playing on screen
Is it worth buying now or should I wait for the Odin 3 maybe?

running windows on your steamdeck is the issue....

I read that switch is the worst regarding input latency.
I am getting the same model and adding red and blue switch grips to have retro mixed with modern look
How do you find the input latency for the games systems you listed? Thanks.

Sudachi but remember to put the title and prod keys on to the internal folder.
