Really cool video. Upgraded from a GPD XD+ to an RG556 about 8 months ago and love it. That was the first time I ever played PS2 on a hand held, and it blew me away so much I upgraded again a couple of weeks ago and got the Odin 2 Pro Rainbow variant. It's the most perfect hand held I've ever played.The performance, design, build quality, battery life, ergos, screen, sound and control layout are all spectacularly great. Mine is currently set up strictly as a PS2/GooglePlay beast with a library of 480 of my favorite PS2 games plus my GooglePlay library. Everything else is on the RG556.

The mini v4 is the perfect on the go device. That’s really what it excels at.

Absolutly love the mini! Quick correction, the V4 comes with a 750x560 screen resolution. They bumped it up for this version and it just looks amazing!

I really want to get one, but it feels like it’d be a step down from the Miyoo A30 in terms of ergonomics and controls. As a stocking stuffer for kids the Miyoo V4 ain’t it: kids don’t understand d-pads.

If you need a screen, a lapdock is a better option in my opinion. Lapdocks also work well with DEX and Stage Manager capable iPads. Cool mod, but the Ally is better for people who aren't going to go all in on the glasses. I use my Viture Pro glasses on planes and love it. Moving to the Pocket go is better for me than traveling with an Ally and Viture Pro. After these ship, I'm hoping to just travel with the pocket go, viture pro, and a lapdock. I just wish a big player like Asus or Samsung would make a quality lapdock.

Just wish this released a couple of months earlier so we could have got discounts as I came so close to going with the 406V instead due to the £40-£50 saving but really wanted a horizontal 4:3 handheld plus the analogue triggers. My parents are paying for it for me as a christmas gift but still don't like the thought of them overpaying. Designs are bland too no skittle buttons like the 406V so just went with the black and bought a 512GB SD card.

I just only got the trimui smart pro but i am still happy with it. But when i play psp games i cant save the games. Got a notice that there is no memory card or somthing like that

More performance and higher refresh rate is pointless with a small battery and no vrr.

I was conflicted between this or tge rp4 pro. I want a device i can connect with a multiport hdmi adaptor and,plug to a tv and plug in a 2.4 ghz controller and use it like a console while using a capture card to record my gameplay but people have been saying the 556 cant do that :(

I just discovered that you can dual boot the oled like 2 days ago. Im still new to it. But its awesome to have both on the deck. Steam OS tho is still king on the deck

i'm considering getting a deck. i was going to get a streaming device like the G Cloud or abxylute but i assume i can do that with the deck and even play natively and emulate more stuff. i like that, from what i've heard, the steam deck's os gives it a nice console feel instead of needing a lot of setup

The only reason that makes me want to dual boot windows on the SD is gamepass, because other than that, there's translation layers that work pretty great on SteamOs, I have epic and Ea play installed on mine and it's honestly shocking how good they work.

Picked up ROG Ally X for $640 open box at Best Buy Yesterday. Totally happy to get it at a discount. 😊

I was thinking to use steam deck to make two partitions and install windows on the second since valve releases the drivers for steam deck for windows. On windows I’d like to download and play some games from GAME PASS but it seems that I’m the only one guy of the world having that idea since no one on the whole internet shared a single video on this whole process and how he was able to decently play a game from game pass There’s no support about this from valve or from the community and now I’m thinking that my steam deck is broken since from day one I wasn’t able to decently play a single game downloaded from game pass: someone continuously crashes during the tutorial, others have not support for the controller, other are so laggy to became unplayable I don’t want to buy the games again on steam since I’ve bought them for PlayStation and I’ve game pass for the Xbox

I think imma just go completely broke and buy that Ally X for $700, sucks because it's really gonna be $755 with taxes accounted for, but I'm gonna try to get an open box deal from Best Buy in excellent condition to reduce some of the cost.. I really just want a portable emulation station to play every console, my iPad was good for that for a bit but Apple is always finding a way to shut down emulation apps like dolphin and pcsx2 whenever they are available.

I already got stream Deck oled I had legion go but took it back becuz didn't want to go over credit but at the time it was over $800 at the time and now I'm looking between legion go and PlayStation portal

Legion Go is basically a gaming tablet. Above any other handhelds 4 now. Personal opinion and user.

i might install windows on my steam deck or i might get the rog ally z1 for my portable pc . for me i have 90% windows games and cod and fortnite and gears of war 5

I can't see buying this over a Steamdeck. At least in the UK, on Amazon, the Odin 2 Pro is £480. That is 606 dollars. I can imagine that this will be cheaper, but the Steamdeck will still be better value for money.
