I'm loving my first retro handheld, the TrimUI Smart pro. I even got my brother into buying one too, he hasn't game in a decade! The form factor and size are perfect. I literally carry it around with me every where.
I use the trim ui smart pro. Upgraded from a gameboy looking ambernic that capped out at some n64/ps1, but the trim ui smart pro is sleak and the screen is tremendous.
They aren’t shipping consumer units until November. Doesn’t give them much ground to claim the best of this year. I’d throw it in next years list as we’re going to have new firmware updates, new front ends, user support etc.
This video hurts since I got my trimui smart pro a couple of months ago and it stopped working for some odd reason. If anyone knows any ways to fix it please let me know. Great to know I made a good decision getting it though.
I have the rp 4 pro...I'm gonna skip the rp5 cause they will come.out with a 6. Other than that I want the oled option but I'll wait cause if I can't play a game on the rp4 pro it's on the rog ally I've been thinking of getting an odin 2 thought just cause

I’m very happy with my pocket 4 pro I got new in box on fb marketplace for $140, but I also have an Odin 2 portal ordered
guess moorechip and anbernic have the emulation market in a stranglehold and rightly so from a price to value perspective, value is supreme

Retroid pocket 5 is the best 2024 handheld for me but good choices.

@ZettiHDz the mini is almost just as good, it basically shows us what the 5 will be able to do.
