Hi Guys, how are your travels? Sounds like most people our staying put and having to do long extended times to combat the high fuel prices. If you get another chance, Hot Springs National Park is a very unique National Park and a must see. Thanks for watching, Stan and Rhonda

We drive up from North Louisiana to HS 4yrs ago and stayed in some cute cabins. Drove into town went up in town and it was rainy and cold when we went to the top of tower. We went into one bath house and seen interesting stuff like you. And we went to wax museum and on duck boat ride was really fun.

Hot Springs NP is a unique place, but we enjoyed it very much! Definitely worth a visit. Gulpha Gorge Campground is gorgeous too and so close to Bathhouse Row. On our way back to Arizona, we also stopped in Little Rock at Maumelle Campground. That was a nice place right on the Arkansas River and close to Pinnacle Mountain State Park. We will change your mind yet about visiting Arkansas, LOL! Always great to hear from you both!!

Thanks for hanging out with us once again! Why is it every time we see a tall tower we think of you guys?😂 We were inspired by you both in our next video to climb to the top of a fire tower. Pretty scary especially with the wind blowing.
We are getting closer to our Ohio meet-up with you! We can't wait to share it. Sorry we are so far behind. We appreciate you two 💕

Hubby and I visited Hot Springs in our Class C motorhome last fall and enjoyed it very much. We saw all the things you did but also visited the National Historic Site for Little Rock Central High School which was the epicenter of confrontation for civil rights back in 1957. It was very informative and I recommend it for anyone else who may be planning a trip there.

JayLynn, Thank you so much for sharing information about the National Historic Site! We love this community exactly for this reason. We can all share our adventures and learn from one another. Such a unique National Park don't you think? It was very enjoyable and we loved all of the history. Thank you for watching and for reaching out. Blessings, Rhonda and Stan

Watch out!!!! After spending several days in Eureka Springs I drove towards Hot Springs to spend a couple days there and I arrived late at night and pulled into the parking lot right outside of this park. It ended with three Rangers treating me like a full-blown criminal trying to force me out of my vehicle, ticketing me instead of just allowing me to leave peacefully while forcing me back to the state to face charges of disobeying a federal officer while they accused me of having drugs guns being on medication, implying I was mentally unbalanced in my sheer fear while flashing their bright lights into my face surrounding my car in the dark. I called to complain the next day and find out that they’re federal officers and this is a federal park and that nobody has control over them. I am outraged by the harassment because all I did was park outside of a park to check in in the morning. They wanted to search my van so bad and I refused to get out scared for my life. I was on a road trip I explained to them from Hawaii moving to another state and I was only passing through that I did not see any signs. I begged them to let me leave and they refused blocking my car. I literally was in the area for less than two hours before this happened and you know that these Rangers patrol this area every single day and they know they have never seen me before as some kind of nuisance instead they took the opportunity to completely harass me as soon as I arrived at “their” park…. Absolutely disgusting and when I made the complaint I was told I would be called back and am still waiting ten days later……. A terrible place to be, a horrific experience and all for parking in the “day park” after hours…………… CREEPS waiting to pounce - they informed me several times that marijuana was illegal in federal parks and that is why they were dying to search my vehicle, to hopefully find a reason to arrest me, tow my vehicle - this makes their boring jobs more fun and even helps get them pay bonuses ……….. The only reason why they did not actually drag me out of my van is because I put them on notice that I have a TH-cam page with 700,000 followers and they will not get away with any crimes. I also videoed them the whole time to make sure that they did not play around because I’ve had this happen before with another BLM Ranger who will soon be facing criminal charges for what he did to me and how he lied to create a reason to arrest me. These federal ran parks are out of control. Even though the state of Arkansas has medical marijuana federal parks do not and they made sure to tell me that multiple times asking me how much marijuana I had in my vehicle and telling me that there were “too many variables on the inside of my car to make me suspicious”… They were glaring at me as if I had killed their mother meanwhile all I was doing was parking after hours accidentally for literally less than an hour. I will never go there again and I am considering civil action against these insane power hungry bullies. I was all by myself as a female- they had no reason to treat me any other way than a decent human being and they could not. I couldn’t even ask their names or stand up for any of my rights because guarantee they would’ve pulled their guns right out at me if I gave them any chance to. I have stayed at several private parks and I’ve had a glorious kind time only in federal parks have I had any issue and I have never been in trouble in my entire life. Once you get on federal land it’s a whole other world and some thing you may decide not to support because I will never support them again.

We are so sorry to hear about your experience at Hot Springs N.P. Maybe things would have been different for you if you had been able to arrive in the daytime and explore the grounds. It’s a very healing place for the mind, body and soul. Hope you are willing to give it another try at a later date. You won’t be disappointed. Blessings and safe travels! ~Rhonda and Stan
