Well said. My favourite gems, after Opals are irradiated blue diamonds. They're particularly beautiful I find set in white gold with a filigree design, that particular lighting dynamic gives is a beautiful gentle blue radiance.
Plus I like a lot of the circumstances around them, the idea of irradiating a stone in a nuclear chamber to change it's colour appeals to me on scientific and supervillain level. I also think there's a bit of poetic beauty behind their creation in that the stones that are best suited to be turned into Blue Diamonds are dirty brown diamonds, the idea that the beauty of the stone is attained BECAUSE of it's natural flaws is very charming to me, that marred quality it what enables it to become so beautiful. That's a very human thing I think. To turn a flaw to our advantage is a very human desire and concept.

I have an irradiated blue diamond ring. A lot smaller though😅 were trying to buy a house and a car right now. But god is it gorgeous 😩 maybe I’m biased because I love teal/turquoise but it is the prettiest stone I’ve ever seen 😩

Untreated are more desirable, but it’s quite evident that heated gems if done correctly have a beauty of their own , I’ve seen heated sapphires that look stunning with excellent color
saturation, a diamond that is cut correctly can have a fire , like any gem all colored gems have their beauty , a few inclusions give any gem it’s own unique quality .
Hard to beat a crystal black opal . Beauty is in the eye of the beholder .

This greenish blue colour also exists with natural colour diamonds. It's very rare, though.

The colors are different, natural colored diamonds are not as strong and vibrant

I just put blue diamonds on my ring before watching this video so sad I don’t know if mine are not natural

    I doubt it, since the
    setting is pre radiation.
    We'll see.

I do agree irritated blue diamonds do not have a low light shine like a natural but the example you showed was a bit inaccurate that u used a emerald. Of course the emerald won’t shine like the like types of diamonds you showed..

Most of diamond are treated is why gia gemologist are rich since they create certificate in favor, I was working in diamond mines in Zimbabwe the diamond do not come as shiny as we see in American singers vexing there are treatments not only cutting and polishing heating and radiation is Also done in secret is why this stone look expensive
