I know you didn’t touch on it in the video a whole lot but I really love the color of lavender/purple diamonds. As well as pink diamonds, I feel like they present the fire in a way that makes it stand out!

My favorite is definitely the dark blue diamond. The Hope diamond is amazing. Love learning about all the stones you guys do. I do think the Herkimer diamond is interesting with the carbon inside. Though I think they are truly not diamonds. 💙💎

Loved this because, diamond are truly, a girls best friend! A diamond of any color is fabulous, and i am a colorless or pink kind of gal, when it comes to diamonds. The more light refraction, and the cut, the more sparkly and i love sparkly! So this was truly illuminating. I know some stones are treated to produce color, so if we are going to produce colors on purpose, i look fabulous in black and pink! Love you guys! Thanks!

I'm pretty sure The opal at 0:40 was cut by Justin from black opal direct. If not he has a similar one with 3 color bars stacked underneath.

Absolutely loved this! I adore most gemstones but diamonds are just so unique. I currently own blue diamonds, red diamonds, a green diamond and a deep purple diamond. The purple being my favourite colour.

You know what helps me when hate goes; I remember Simon's geofraphic video. I know exactly where I was and was written on closed captions and said literally. Remembering something that is truth instead of hate and people's opinions or thoughts of you overcomes. Your parents or foster parents etc. Wouldn't want you to get hurt or die. Friends or people that care and love you wouldn't want to see you hurting. People who love you don't destroy you.

I'd hope to obtain an unmodified purple diamond at some point, however, I do love the intense reds with blue or purple secondary hues.

There is no question about how bandgap physics works and no question about the principles behind colour centres in diamond. There are many many papers on this along with PhD theses (mine included). There is a question on the exact energy level structures of some defects and uncertainties about which defects cause certain absorptions/ colours though.
I'm surprised you didn't mention that irradiated diamond (and many others) change colour under mild heat treatment or UV illumination. This can be a really interesting aspect of diamond colour.

I find it so fascinating to know how diamonds get their colors from many chemicals exposure and pressure.🙎♀️🌈💎 I know there to find🗺/make🥽⚗ them and find out colorless diamonds can be made by extreme temperatures🔥🌡 are very interesting too.🤔 My favorites colors on them are pink💖 and black🖤 ones. I hear you. I bought mine back in 2011, an Argyle 0.20 princess cut fancy intense purplish-pink VVS1 for a fairly modest $9900 USD. Looking at some of the similar stones these days, the prices have more than tripled

Knowing this now makes it almost completely impossible to know if your diamond was born out of the earth that color, or what the hell happened to it? and now with lab created diamonds passing the Diamond test! diamonds are incredibly overrated to me at this point!
