What a beautiful special christmas we had this year... I think I don't have the corrects words to explain what I felt during the watching of this episode. I feel lonely now, i'm still not used to the fact that twelve is now gone. After all thoses regenerations It's hard to accept and let go.
Thank you for everything you've done to the show Peter Capaldi, you were one of my favorite doctor and you always will be stupid old man.

It's always been hard for me to choose my doctor.
But it's always been between 9 and 10.
My reasons are actually quite simple. I felt 9 was the setup for everything we have now, he was the basis of it all.
He was the coward spiraling towards peace, while still battling his own anger.
But 10 brought it to the next level, he was the peaceful loving traveler, just looking for excitement and always trying to better everything.
(11 was amazing as well, though in my opinion, just a tad too goofy. But he has some of the cooler scenes, and as for 12. Man, he was truly like an old man. Wise and lovable, but he lost a lot of what I loved about the doctor as well. Mind you, I still loved him for the roll :P and felt it was a perfect tone shift) I am quite interested in the next season, and REALLY hope they don't screw it up. Because I SWEAR if it starts off as a 'girlpower' series, dear lord. The potential is there for it to be good, just as it always has been, it just needs good writing.

More or less...Jodie's seasons have been, not great, to say the least.
Very nicely done. Losing 12 feels like losing a family member, but I’m glad he had a spectacular last outing.
He feels like a very wise uncle to me 😆
