Those seat designs brings me back to school field trip bus memories!
You wouldn't want to be sitting in one of them on a long-haul flight though. Your legs would be in bits after just a couple of hours cramped up like that. 😬
This reminds me so much of growing up in Germany and the school buses there that are just repurposed tour buses.

Airport served international flights before, but now due to corona pandemic it's only for domestic flights. And Osijek is really beautiful charming city!

Great Trip Report! I’ve seen this interesting flight on Flightradar24 before and wondered when you would cover it. The price for the flights are very reasonable. I think it’s run as a PSO (Public Service Obligation) route so can usually find good air fares. That particular aircraft used to operate for Manx2 and Citywing out of the Isle of Man in United Kingdom. ✈️

31 Year old Let l-410! You´re a brave man.
I did Split-Pula-Osijek back in 2017 with AIS on the J32... just an incredible trip! Also Osijek was worth a visit despite the difficulty to get a cab taking me from the airport to the city and back. No infrastructure at the airport at all...

The L-410NG is a great aircraft: a small plane (14 seats) with a toilet.

Yes, the airport is tiny but just a few days ago a boeing 737 from Kazan (mid-Russia) from Smart Wings landed here.

Latest modification of Let L-410 now manufactured in Russia. And also it used at many regional flights here

Distance from Zagreb to Osijek is 283 km.2,5 hours by car.
Quite a good plane...especially with the Pratt and Whitney engines. You might want to check out Cape Air's Tecnam P2012 Travellers, especially out of ORD. Cape Air also operates the P2012 out of STL.
Now we do have Pratt and Whitney engines on the Croatian domestic routes, the only L-410 equiped with PT6 engines. Come and try it ;)

Many years ago, i flew with fokker 100, loved the trip, it was so comfortable for the size

This plane using bus seat (that pattern looks familiar for me). Meanwhile in my country, there is bus (intercity bus/coach) using seat from old plane (from Business class seat on DC-10 aircraft).
