This was the best concert I've ever been to. 19 years old and seeing AC/DC live, man, I watch this and get the shivers. People jumping all around you, feeling the same way you do, went there with 3 other friends and as soon as it started, the human tide separated us and I ended up a few feet away from Angus during his solo. When I heard that first thunder in Thunderstruck and saw the lightnin' on the screens, I knew it was coming. We all knew. I don't think I ever punched the air so hard in my life. Sang every song, came out of the concert disphonic, my back and my shoulders hurt as if I've been carrying a huge load for those last 7 hours, my fingers hurt for doing the devil horns all the time. I see this, and I feel the adrenaline rush again. We all knew we were attending something legendary, but man, oh man, seeing it from the outside makes it even bigger.
Yep. The South Americans really know how to rock hard. Its great, I just wish I'd been there... Wish I knew why I love Phil Rudd tho. Somehow he seems to have that perfect blues style but....anyone technical out there? It's as if he drives it but keeps that languid, chill feel. Usually rock drummers are just balls-to-the-wall but there's something unique about his style. I suppose there is for all drummers but he and John Bonham are the only ones I can "feel" it and Malcolm Young's rhythm has the same easy feel. Under-rated musicians all.
As a rule I'm not keen on stadium gigs............. but this is the exception. I get as much pleasure from watching the audience as listening to and watching AC/DC.

I watched this video over and over. Amazing Argentina, they could electrify whoever on the stage. But the effort put from every ACDC member to perform this song is something that steals my heart at every view. They look like playing on the limit of themselves, the focus is ridicolous. The audio is perfectly balanced: you can listen Brian tearing Phil's solid sound, Malcolm embroiding notes with Cliff framing it all until Angus decides to shot energy juice from that guitar. Such performances are rock'n'roll milestones
TimmyTime Yeah! You might not, but I do, they better then the Beetals, Rolling Stones,Led Zeppelin and any other Rock band you can think off, AC⚡️DC with Bon Scott - ain't no better.

Who would have ever thought that the Aussie Melbourne pub band would tear a stadium full of Argies apart 40 years after they started . There's enough energy in that joint to run a small nation
Most folks focus on Angus, but overlook Phil Rudd as the drummer. He had impeccable endurance, timing, and thunderous impact to the success of AC/DC. steady as they come.
He beats the sht out of those drums. Malcom rips those cords grinds pics in half. All of those guys push it hard. Powerful. Cover bands just play it, they cant recreate it. These guys are special. Pure power and energy. They arent even plugged in i dont think.... Well ok, theyre extremely plugged in. Like no other
Argentina has the best classic hard rock fans in the world. Refreshing to see people going crazy and rocking out rather than holding their cell phones.
in the early August i saw the Devil in vision "showing of" in front of me and he was like "singing" (=screaming as a madman) KILL THEM, MURDER THEM MURDER THEM! KILL THEM! the only thing i know that i thougt was "ok, now i KNOW that hardrock is created in hell". and other times, the whole place seemed to have transformed to instruments for death metal hard core. BOOM! BOOM! BANG! BOOM! i heard this several days and it was exactly as if he was standing "in the other side" i mean ever noise around me would just sound as if he stood there behind a door knocking, knocking, knocking. and then in the late August. Eminem released a song called Venom where he sings like KNOCK KNOCK! LET THE DEVIL IN!
@@joaquinperales4123 I'd love to have that in Germany. I'm right there minding my intense business in a moshpit whilest people around the pit get pissed of bcuz they "can't film properly". I still don't get why people go to concerts if they just wanna film it.
This is the best concert ever. Best of all concerts ever. That energy in the crowd, pure joy, and the best band ever to play a rhythmic rock and roll. Nobody can play together on this level.
We need to put this in perspective....these guys were in their 50' s and up and f**king rocking that stadium. There is not a band today that can match this...the performances, the guitar playing and those DRUMS. Freaking awesome 👌 👏 👍 😍 💖 🙌
Yep, shots of Phil really tied it all together for me because the rhythm section is so insanely good in this show. Yeh, I know, never use the word "Underrated" to describe people but I actually feel that way about Phil. There are always great players that go unnoticed by the jerks at Rolling Stone and Guitar Mag.
I just said similar above. I just love his style. He drives it but he's got that easy blues feel at the same time, and both Cliff and Angus complement perfectly. Rock drumming has kinda lost that - I'm good with balls-to-the-wall drumming but there's the same kind of distinction with Rudd as there was with Ginger Baker and John Bonham. Just fablus!
@@randomhumanoidblob4506as loathesome as Ginger Baker could be (burned out liver will make you an anger machine with no common sense) he was one hell of a drummer. I think his name doesn't come up much because nobody liked him, but if you rate him on merit alone, he was one of the greats, a very educated man who knew lots of styles and had a lot of mastery.
@@zeppelinmexicano That's really interesting - fab, now I'm going to fall down the Ginger Baker hole. So now look wot you been n gone n dun. Feel bad! Some bands just seem to pull together astonishing talent, together they're amazing but they're all brilliant individually too (Zep, Cream, Queen etc.) I think for me it's somehow immaculate timing combined with that chill bluesy feel and Rudd is up there. You obvs understand drumming better than me so it makes sense to you, but from a complete layperson's pov it's somehow not the same as just driving force (most rock drummers) or the military precision of someone like Mark Brzezicki. Very individual and I stan the whole bluesy vibe 😁
This band rocked the planet from their beginning in 1973...they had and have the artists who made this the very best rock n roll band EVER!!! I'm 68 years old and rock these guys all of the time!!!
0:50 en adelante..pogo Argentino!! Esto es asi...aguante el rock!!!
I remember as a kid in the early 80s hearing that ACDC was going to be at our local radio station. Me and my buddy said "Let's go down there!" I expected maybe 300-400 people. There was maybe 40 of us waiting outside. Those guys came out and spent a good half hour with us. I never met another band that did this....Brian was especially friendly. Those guys treated us like brothers
RIP Malcolm Young. And Bon Scott who wrote the song. Brians voice was suffering a bit, but he was about 61 at the time so fair enough. Angus's energy is amazing.
This must be one of the greatest live rock songs ever, I remember hearing at 11 years old, and that was my path into rock music, now 51and it still sounds superb.

The sound guys for AC/DC are incredible, every instrument is crisp, the bass is loud, the guitars hit hard. Angus’ guitar is boosted perfectly in the lead sections, the drums have so much punch and clarity. An incredible feat to have such a good sound in such a huge arena. I bet it really punches the crowd in the chest. Mega.

Whole fuckin stadium is a mosh pit!! Kudos to Argentina. What a performance from the band.

Pude ir con mi hijo, le dije que nunca olvidaria este concierto al igual que yo, vuelvo a mirarlo y una decada despues , todavia se me eriza la piel, VER A AC/DC Y DESPUES PARTIR, LA ADRENALINA, LA EXCITACION, 70000 PERSONAS QUE ERAMOS UNO SOLO EXTASIADOS POR UNA MAQUINA INFERNAL DE ROCKANDROLL, PODRE VER OTROS CONCIERTOS PERO JAMAS OLVIDARE ESTE , GRACIAS AC/ DC POR HABER VENIDO EN AQUEL 2009, Y GRACIAS A LA VIDA QUE ME PERMITIO VIVIRLO JUNTO A MI HIJO QUE EN ESE MOMENTO TENIA 16 YEARS, QUE EMOCION QUE SIENTO TODAVIA!!!!
Quisiera vivir algo así con mi hijo. Sos un genio 🤘
Ambos sortudos!
Argentina has the best classic hard rock fans in the world. Refreshing to see people going crazy and rocking out rather than holding their cell phones.
This was December 2009. Latin America you have idiots using their phones at shows nowadays.
in the early August i saw the Devil in vision "showing of" in front of me and he was like "singing" (=screaming as a madman) KILL THEM, MURDER THEM MURDER THEM! KILL THEM! the only thing i know that i thougt was "ok, now i KNOW that hardrock is created in hell".
and other times, the whole place seemed to have transformed to instruments for death metal hard core. BOOM! BOOM! BANG! BOOM!
i heard this several days and it was exactly as if he was standing "in the other side" i mean ever noise around me would just sound as if he stood there behind a door knocking, knocking, knocking.
and then in the late August. Eminem released a song called Venom where he sings like
KNOCK KNOCK! LET THE DEVIL IN!
@@dchenkin02 no, see megadeth or metallica in 2016, 2017 playing in Argentina, is the same, almost nobody use their phones
@@joaquinperales4123 I'd love to have that in Germany. I'm right there minding my intense business in a moshpit whilest people around the pit get pissed of bcuz they "can't film properly".
I still don't get why people go to concerts if they just wanna film it.
They love the good stuff down there
Absolutely precise drums of Phil Rudd. The best drummer of the group ever.
This is the best concert ever. Best of all concerts ever. That energy in the crowd, pure joy, and the best band ever to play a rhythmic rock and roll. Nobody can play together on this level.
Look up Rush live in Rio

The drummer kills me banging away on those drums for freaking hours with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth I freaking love it, Rock God
Phil Rudd: badass drummer keeping it right & tight in the pocket! I've seen him twice! So powerful!🥁
The pinnacle of the Chad musician
Swiss Watch. Simple was never so complicated.
Phil Rudd, what a drummer he is. Absolute perfect timing like a bloody metronome 🤣

AC/DC's official romantic power ballad....
This is the right tempo and groove for this song. God bless Phil Rudd!
I think this river plate crowd is the best concert crowd ever, every song they are causing shifts in the tectonic plates in Argentina.
I don't really like stadium/arena concerts, but I would have loved to have been in that crowd. Fantastic audience!
I agree
Hahaha !!
Search the “pogo mas grande del universo” and u will see a shift in the tectónic plates.
Gotta say I watched a lot of gigs of bands playing in Argentina. But after this I can confirm. ARGENTINA HAS THE BEST FANS!!

That performance brought a tear to my eye!! Absolutely love ACDC ❤️🇦🇺🇬🇧 and that crowd were equally amazing!!
We need to put this in perspective....these guys were in their 50' s and up and f**king rocking that stadium. There is not a band today that can match this...the performances, the guitar playing and those DRUMS. Freaking awesome 👌 👏 👍 😍 💖 🙌
thats pretty much it.... they simply rock
Brian Johnson was actually in his 60's, born 1947.
Greatest band ever love ac/dc
The best of all time
Johnson is 70 something bruh and he can still fucking rock it
Watching this concert always gives me goosebumps, what a band, what a crowd!! These fans put all others to shame.
Phil is just killing it, I can't stop tapping my foot and bobbing my head.
This concert in Buenos Aires is very likely to belong to the TOP10 concerts of all bands, all times...
Top 3 most definitely
This band rocked the planet from their beginning in 1973...they had and have the artists who made this the very best rock n roll band EVER!!! I'm 68 years old and rock these guys all of the time!!!
Anyone else afraid that music like this may not exist in the future😞 - long live 🎸!!!
Anatoli Pavlov well said
Heard something in the last few day that they are getting back together.
The music will live on forever though
there’s not a modern band out there now that could pull in that sort of crowd and whip them into that sort of frenzie
Lets pray to the rock&roll gods man
I tell you there is no band that gets a crowd going like AC/DC
maybe Iron Maiden....just maybe
Can confirm
Yeah, only AC/DC and Maiden
...and only in Buenos Aires.
greek audiences are fakin awesome too :D (Im Greek if you did not get it :P)
When the beat kicks in and the crowd goes mental....sends shivers down my spine.

Holy fuck that would be amazing!
Good old days. Same with me.
Brian Johnson seems like a great man overall.
Wow. How cool!
AAAHHHHH 301 ST PERSON LOL XXX PEACE , JAYE
A very rare privilege! Only happens when you're just a teenager... What a blessing!
I’m a big fan of AC/DC from Japan. I salute you and the audience.
Mega.
