- This video presents the full installation of the Spike upper doors for the Polaris General. This video is a re-cut of previous videos. I reworked the video at the request of Spike, and I thank them for the request. As a reminder, I PURCHASED these doors and installed them.

Very good video.
What kind of windshield is that?
Ben, please come back with a review after you run it down the road at 50 mph and let us know how well they seal.
I’ve done a couple of quick rides, and the doors seem to seal well, and there’s not a lot of vibration or flapping. More to come, hopefully!
Wish they made them for the General 4.
Send them an email and see if they’re working on them (they may be, I don’t know). They’re very friendly and respond promptly.
Hey Ben are you still happy with your upper doors?
I ended up selling my rig, but while I had them, I loved them. I’m hoping to get a new unit in the future, and I’ll definitely get upper doors for that for winter riding.
Were you able to reinstall your mirrors and get them to work
They interfere with the doors when you try to open it. If the mirrors are mounted high on the roll cage, they may clear better. I’ve seen a couple of options: 1) Mount the mirrors to the door or the front fender body panel (though, you may have some visibility issues), or 2) the Seizmik doors include a mount where you can mount the mirrors to the upper door panel.
@@GeneralTalkWithBen hopefully someday you'll get back on the trails. I'll probably end up going with the spiked doors because I like some of the features more than the Seizmik upper doors. Although they are very similar type of upper doors. Maybe I'll look into a backup camera. And maybe the mirrors aren't that great because you'll be getting knocked out of an alignment because where I write is very tight trails at times. Good luck with your future hope to see more of your videos on what you're doing to your machine again.
