I like that you video was more informative than opinionated, just what you knew about the system and how it works, rather than a lot of negativity. There’s a reason you’re my favorite Unite TH-camr!
My three loadouts are 1)Attack with cooldown reduction ( Brown + Black) 2)Sp. Attack with cooldown reduction ( Green + Black) 3) Hp with cooldown reduction ( White + black). This will be the builds most of the players have too. Hp is the best defencive build. If you have pink you can add pink with HP build too.
After getting today's batch I got a lot that boost speed so I tried a greedent invade build with float stone and it worked really well. That poor cinderace...
The CDR is actually pretty strong, even before these were added, I'd occasionally just run shell bell/ energy amp for the CDR. The downside is there usually are more impactful items in terms of power, but the Electroball coming back like a second sooner is semi good.
this actually reminds me a lot of MTG, magic the gathering, where there are a bunch of colors that do specific things and you want to build your setup based on your playstyle, love it!
I think Boost Emblems are cool, with just two big changes I'd love to see: • Up to one diamond boost emblem to represent mega or legendary pokemon, with a beefier Stat change. Alternatively to the idea of some beefy big ones, letting some monotypes count as two of the same color, since dual type seem really good right now • Oh my god please let me turn in my useless fashion tickets for these. Edit for bonus bulleted ideas: • The speed out of battle should change. Drastically increase the speed for this and float stone, let it be universal speed, or let it be a three second timer to trigger • Being able to sell emblems for a dust material to construct the ones you want like Hearthstone would be nice
As a Tsareena main, I'm definitely looking at black and brown, with her Queenly majesty effect to reset cooldown, I could basically just infinite stomp (sorta haha) and just adding on some extra attack is great. With pink's hindrance reduce effect, that's really good, but since Tsareena's passive already does that, I don't know if I would really need it, but maybe it would be cool. As for red, either it would be SUPER helpful, or it wouldn't make much of a difference. Like spragels said in the video,, each pokemon's attack speed is different, decidueye's basic attacks are pretty fast, whereas I think Tsareena needs help in that department, but only just a bit.
I'm loving these emblems now. It doesn't actually hurt to grind for it because you just need to play to get it. I think it'll get tweaked in the future but right now it's not something to worry about. Also, I'd wish there would be an option to add extra loadouts maybe through missions. That would be fun.
Thank you sir for the video. Was excited when I saw how the emblems could be obtained in the game, but got overwhelmed and confused at the emblem page that I stopped at just getting some emblems 😅 Pretty helpful and glad to know the specific stats don't mean too much right now, cuz that's exactly one of the things I was confused about-
I really like the emblems! I use the attack and health boosting emblem for my talonflame and so far i love it. I wish that i can pull More black emblems for cd reduction.
@spragels hey you can stack the same emblem with itself. So if you have a bunch of Victreebel you can use those to get both Green and Black I would recommend not merging and emblem until you have a larger selection of each color.
@@doopness785 Duplicates are fine for filling out to 10 slots in a loadout, but 4 Victreebels by themselves will only seem to count for 1 Green and 1 Black.
Rapid Spin Blastoise feels like it might be extremely strong with the extra percentage HP and SpAtk from White and Green, respectively. As the Pokémon with the highest defenses in the game and a very high HP stat, it benefits the most from extra HP with the White boost combined with Aeos Cookie since you’re probably already stacking with SpAtk Specs for this build, since you’re getting a percentage-based SpAtk increase from Green (that I believe stacks with SpAtk Specs). For your last item, you choose either Focus Band for thousands of free health in a fight or Wise Glasses for even more SpAtk (I wonder if Green and Glasses stack additively or multiplicatively), and with Potion or X Attack as your battle item. Rapid Spin Blastoise already feels like the truest kind of tank in the game, both taking and dishing out large damage, and this will elevate that idea to new heights
I think the emblems affect only base stats, not the stackable of effect ones. As Items already counts towards every bit on scaling. But if im wrong them Emblems are more impactfull them we think

Movespeed out combat takes a while to trigger, which is why the flat movespeed Float Stone is far more useful than it's actual special bonus to movespeed out of combat, so that makes me question its value by itself. Its like you can almost walk between lanes before it activates.
its 8 or 10 seconds i think, before the out of combat movementspeed activates. whichever it is, its the same time as leftovers and assault vest( i think thats what its called, the special defense health item that gives a magic shield)
14:35 With this build you might aswell swap one of your worse greens for a purple so you get the special defence increase while not losing out on the special attack increase
I main Decidueye and I can definitely see a difference using the red set. Like, he's moving moving now and I've been actively mowing people down just with basic attacks.
5:52 As we know from Muscle Band's +7.5% Attack Speed at lvl 30, for some characters it works and for others it does practically nothing. As for what I think are the best colors, I believe Green, White and Brown for their simple, yet functional effects and then Black because cooldown reduction (even if I haven't gotten enough emblems to reach 4% cooldown reduction)
Movement speed might be a fun option to explore, more gimmicky if anything. Just imagine a Gengar with yellow boost emblems, a float stone, and levitate just roaming around at the speed of sound
I am very excited for the evolution of the Boost Emblem system. It can definitely lead to a lot of fun combinations for very specific Pokémon and can start a lot of conversation in the competitive side of things with Worlds right around the corner.
About Red : there was a topic on mathcord discord explaining how BA speed works. If nothing changed, then when know "exactly" how this should affect your mons. About Pink : currently, there are only 4 emblems of this color. So can't go any further than step 1, and thus, probably not worth it, at least until new emblems are added to the game. About Yellow : yeah, movement speed out of combat is great. That's why we all love Float stone, you know XD. Right know I'm thinking that White, Black and Red should be the most important depending what you're playing (Red being good only on auto-attacker, obviously). SpAtk and Atk don't seem worthy : you only get 4%, whereas only part of your damages depends on your SpAtk / Atk stat. Don't know how Def / SpDef work, but it's probably better to invest in HP anyway. However, there are double types of these colors, so might get some step 1 of these "for free". Even if I agree that colors are the most important, the flat bonus / malus aren't completely irrelevant. Especially in the early game, flat bonus aren't that negligible.
Green/Sp.Atk right now happens to be blessed by having 4 emblems that are Green/Black, so you often might as well atleast get the Green T2 boost on top of Black's Boosts
One of the other interesting base stat increases might be movement speed. Dodrio gives something like 35 movement speed. When stacked with a doduo, I think I'm feeling it! Hard to say though
A Brown/Pink hybrid could be helpful for outrage Dragonite, reduces self stun duration (i assume) by 16%, while increasing damage. Red/Pink might also be good (or a 3 way hybrid, with pink prioritized) depending on how the attack speed words. The stun might only be .7 seconds, but that'd be reduced to 0.588 seconds. a small difference, but has a potentially big impact. Black is useful for most pokemon, but especially for any disruptor/supporter. Yellow for any pokemon who benefits from float stone for sure like Talonflame/Decidueye.
Those who had been stacking up on energy reward packs get temporarily a huge boost compared to those who picked fashion tickets instead because they didn't see a reason not to open them
I was very confused about the stat change shown and the effect, this video really made it clear. Thank you Spragels for an easy, understanding and amazing explanation! YeeHaw!. P.S: I will probably still copy the builds you post in the future :P
Another Fact: Only 1 pokemon per color, so stacking 2 golbats doesn't count as 2 blacks p.s I've been trolling so hard with a movement speed build with crustle even A pikachu who out levels me after using a unite can't catch me
I just noticed that you can equip emblems of the same pokemon more than once, as long as its a different rarity. However, it doesn't seem to contribute toward getting more color combo. I equipped a Bronze Growlithe and a Silver Growlithe just now, but it still says I only have 1 red. This might be a good thing to know.
This patch kinda provides incentive to pick a character as your main too with the ribbons added. You can now see which players are playing a character they have played a lot of.
not really. i mean you can use duplicates, but their rarity doesnt matter. using a bronze a silver and a gold bulbasaur will still only give you 1 green point.

Like a Dusk Ball could give +100 Sp. Def and -100 Def. My system was simpler but this allows for some more customization
the move cooldown reduction looks insane. Would love to try a full movement speed build just to see how fast you can possibly go. full hp build, crit chance seems like only stats other than maybe movement speed that could have an significant stat impact Move hinderance redutions could be insane, just think moves are balanced very specificly for a reason and messing with that duration could mean you are doing things you arent supposed to
funny thing is, since 2 of the same emblem (ie: 2 clefairys in a loadout) only count as one for color bonuses, you can only get the first tier of Pink's set bonus, so we don't have much hinderance reduction available yet.
I could totally see them adding emblems based on legendary pokemon as well. They can be limited to only one per set/build. Would at least add another collecting incentive.
I just literally start playing this again cause i miss using Garchomp and because i get to see tyranitar is coming to the game too. Also that system of boost emblem got my attention too and I'm still new for that stuff
Ooh green and black sounds perfect for me as a petal dancing venu main. Definitely will try this out! As for the speed one I mean idk it kinda sounds like float stone to me, where you have to be out of combat for it to active? Tho it is nice youre not wasting item slot on it. The question would be if theres some sort of minor cool down for it to activate, like how many seconds outside of combat do you have to be for it to work and such?
I'm curious to find out more about the tenacity reduction. I know in league the more tenacity you have the less time you are affected by cc. Like the tenacity boots and hunter genius rune gives you 48 tenacity so that gives you almost half the cc duration. The tenacity within pokemon unite isn't that big but I would like to find out if you get out of fire spin faster maybe 1 less spin or if you only get affected by slowbros surf upgrade 2 times instead of the 3. So far I have a cooldown reduction sp ATK build, and I have a tank/support build with a little bit of def, health, and c.d reduction that works so far. These may change or get better as I get more emblems. I need 1 more pink before I can see what the cc duration is
You can't acutally, duplicate Pokemon (even if they're bronze/silver/gold) only count as 1 for purposes of the bonuses. 4 Victreebel would just be 1 Green/1Black.
Not sure if it was covered, but equipping more than 1 of the same pokemon emblem seems to count as 1 for the colour combo. Looks like it has to be 2/4/6 different mon emblems.
As a Zerarora main, increasing my speed and attack stats will probably benefit me the most. Cool down reduction seems like something I should try too. (Thanks to the people in my replies who helped me out)
Im in love with this system. It makes me want to grind constantly in a game that was not rewarding my time spent before. And it is similar to itens, the "passive" is what matters, so gold badges actually barely matters
They made lottery power useless for so long and gave no hint that it would be so vital soon. I had hundreds but got tired of saving it so I started using them for extra tickets and coins

full hp build, crit chance seems like only stats other than maybe movement speed that could have an significant stat impact
Move hinderance redutions could be insane, just think moves are balanced very specificly for a reason and messing with that duration could mean you are doing things you arent supposed to
funny thing is, since 2 of the same emblem (ie: 2 clefairys in a loadout) only count as one for color bonuses, you can only get the first tier of Pink's set bonus, so we don't have much hinderance reduction available yet.
@@gypsysprite4824 ow thats actually pretty strange lol
After doing a Sp.Atk build at the cost of Atk, it feels like Atk also slows down your attack speed. But it might be my mind playing tricks on me.
I could totally see them adding emblems based on legendary pokemon as well. They can be limited to only one per set/build. Would at least add another collecting incentive.
Thanks. This thing was messing with my head.
Thanks for the information since I just came back to the game after a long time and I was like what are these?
I'm so mad that I didn't save my energy awards. That's what I get for hating seeing the little red dots when I haven't collecting.
The question would be if theres some sort of minor cool down for it to activate, like how many seconds outside of combat do you have to be for it to work and such?
well you'd be wasting emblem slot there's only so much compression you can do to get 2 maxed out color effects
I cant wait to invade jungles with slowpoke after getting max yellows and using float stone and exp share. My bro finna be fast!
I need 1 more pink before I can see what the cc duration is
You can use the same pokemon emblem, just use another green/black victreebel emblem to get max black and green effect
I kinda hoped for one of the color bonuses to increase crit rate but still this is a really good system in Pokémon unite
It's possible to double up on Pokémon in the builds too so double victreebel could be an option
Alcremie is one of the next 6 Pokémon coming to the game
As a Zerarora main, increasing my speed and attack stats will probably benefit me the most. Cool down reduction seems like something I should try too. (Thanks to the people in my replies who helped me out)
Special attack is useless on zera
He has no moves to use special attack
@@gouravdas2401 is discharge physical?
@@pinkwooper5129 yeah, all moves are based on the Pokémon, so you don't need to worry about a mixed build.
@@juanjoselopezhernandez6841 oh sweet. Thanks
Im in love with this system. It makes me want to grind constantly in a game that was not rewarding my time spent before. And it is similar to itens, the "passive" is what matters, so gold badges actually barely matters
I love this system too. I see gold badges as item to collect. As long as I get the passive I want, I won't worry much
Boost emblems are really amazing just as your content.🙌
I love both.😅
Who is saving now and waiting for the new set of emblems to come out? XD
Think u mentioned bout how bronze could be better than gold in some cases and think u didn't cover it, will u make a video about it?
They made lottery power useless for so long and gave no hint that it would be so vital soon. I had hundreds but got tired of saving it so I started using them for extra tickets and coins
Crit chance emblems for ranged AD is crazy strong.
The passives are the main thing. Works great
I love emblems, but my teammates still don’t rotate
You can get maximum of extra 10% crit rate from ten gold farfetch.
Hello! Spragels i love your vids! 😄
Six green emblems = a smart monacle.
Haha
