The year was 1985, I had just turned 15, the world was an indecipherable box of secrets and like any teenager my life was a roller coaster that went up and down; but the music, my God, what music! the best in all of history, and I was there and I had the privilege of experiencing it in all its splendor. Live long the 80s.
Man, it brings me back to the best era of music of the 80s. I was in high school heard it first on the fm radio in Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭 and then, sooner, on MTVs, and on famous tv lunch show each day by DJ named "Long Tall Howard" on music video in channel 2. Which I always tune in after "eat bulaga."" Growing up in high school that this song becomes the soundtrack of everyday high school life, crushes ❤& infatuations, & parties. The only single hit by this group that made our younger teen lives so memorable. Thanks, guys, for this beautiful song 🎵 classic and irreplaceable.
I saw Vitamin Z when they opened for Tears for Fears at Le Zenith in May '85 while I was studying in Paris. I've never heard of them in the States before or since. Too bad, really.
The summer of '85, MTV had this in heavy rotation. I liked it okay then, but I was only nineteen and had yet to see a girl that had broken up with me out with another guy. Just a few years later I would know the feeling well.
Me gustan los coros y el sonido surraund o en eco. Que buena sensación. Si tuviera mas graves o bajos seria aun mejor. Tiene que sonar de nuevo!. Temazooo

For continuously trying to know who is the girl in the video, I might as well change the title of the song to " I still haven't found what I'm looking for".
I know this song is 29 years old recently here in 2024. I showed this to a friend of mine and he says he’s never seen a roast like that, that girl really got roasted. She needs 🎉🎉to leave the room for real, but she’s in the next video ..every time I see you,WTf?
Does anyone know whether they pronounced their name the British or American way? I know they're British (like me) but sometimes British bands would use Americanisms.
Emotional kid stuff. Nothing compared to Fleetwood Mac. Everybody humping on everybody else in the band and writing about it and singing grief ridden songs about it. This song....girl left you for the bass player......Get over it! Great tune though!

NEVER GETS OLD!!! my fave on U68 😍
I saw Vitamin Z when they opened for Tears for Fears at Le Zenith in May '85 while I was studying in Paris. I've never heard of them in the States before or since. Too bad, really.
I used to listen to A LOT of new wave as a toddler and this was one of the most common songs I listened to.
Nice pop from a period that had a lot of it.
This was a favorite often played on QUAKE FM 99 and LIVE 105 in San Francisco. Big Rick Stuart and Steve Masters liked it!
One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard ❤
Absolutely, and most because of its style ... hard to reach this target
Oh the memories of the 80’s & living in Manhattan💕🔥❤️…..
1985 clásicos de los 80s
Good mémoires with peter Gabriel ' s guitarist ( David Rhodes) on guitar

Lead singer is Arctic Monkeys manager
Hell do I wanna make a video clip with that song
All time favorite,
Singer looks like a bastard child of Tears for Fears duo lol.
Steinberger Guitar in action!🤟
Yeah, very popular in the 80's specially the bass.
If I'm not mistaken the synthesizer in the video is a Sequential T8.
Damn lead singer, lighten up.
Geoff look like that actor from Disney The Mandalorian and Wonder Woman 1984.
Pedro Pascal?
@@eckoalbino1623 Yeah.
I been wondering since I first saw this in the 80s . . . with whom was the singer in love: the woman or his bandmate???
His voice freezing my body😂😂😂
Who is the girl? A query 35 years in my head
I'd like to know as well.
