The catering was on a double decker bus the band were very nice to work with. I’ve got photos of the go cart somewhere in my loft.

My parents used to run a pub in the early ‘80s and had a jukebox installed for the customers. They were allowed to keep any vinyl that was being replaced with new hits. This was on their playlist and they decided to keep this absolute tune - and they still have it now.

Saw these guys live when they came to New Zealand in the early 80's I had never heard of them but they were first up, before Simple Minds, The Pretenders, and Talking Heads. Probably the best concert I ever went to,. These guys had people up dancing from the moment they walked out on the stage.

I was seventeen when this song came out was watching mtv and getting ready to go out on a Saturday with friends I fell for the black cute young singer it was acward because I was an Alicia Silverstone look a like white girl but thought one of the white guys and the lead black guy singing were very cute I loved to dance to this song to. He he I'm 54 years old now but still an older babe.
I honestly feel that if it had not been for MTV and the one hits and creativity, exploding images and groups from around the world like these guys and 1000 others,the world would have died. Imagine no MTV then. There was nothing else.I love this song!
