Never thought I'd live long enough to hear James talk about a black and white movie, but it's happened. You want more eerie 1930s immersion? Watch White Zombie
Watched this movie a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it! I was surprised at the presentation of the female lead. The movie opens with the photographer man having a pity party that he wants to take beautiful nature photos but all advertisers want are pictures of beautiful women. He walks into Depression era New York where he meets the leading lady trying to steal an apple because she is hungry. He takes her to a cafe where he tells her that she shouldn't be out on the streets because it's not safe. And that's where I started to be invested in her character. The rest of the movie is as the boys say. She gets taken to Skull Island so the photographer can use her as a model. She gets kidnapped and Kong becomes obsessed with her beauty. Carrey Grant's character is very tsundere towards her but he is the inly one, the only person in the entire film, who actually cares about the female lead's survival. Everyone else just sees her as a beautiful woman to be used for their own gain and/or pleasure. It's not just a big monster movie, it's a message that letting people act on their baser instincts is destructive to society. That even the greatest accomplishments that we built together can be threatened when we focus only on our needs and wants. Also, the criticism on early advertising that we still have issues with to this day. Don't let anyone tell you it's a social media made problem, it's been around as long as humans have been widely distributing materials which tell people what they should strive for.
@@winters-ghost89 why are you questioning your own statement? You seem very easily confused if you don't know why a B channel to a channel that only has a little over a million subs isn't at a million subs itself. They don't even push the audience of their main channel to subscribe to this one.
You should do a poll of our favourite moments ie. The big sandwich. Or manson being allowed to be a pig rolling down a hill. I swear the way James laughs gets me everytime I listen to it
... I absolutely love you all. The numbers thing. I hope you know if I ever ask about numbers it's cause I listen so closely (at times) and enjoy you all so much. So much love. So much love. Don't kill yourself. Please live and continue to say unknown just how wrong wrong random numbers.
Kong Trivia Time, if you go to the top of the Empire State Building they have props on the inside that make it look like King Kong is outside. Rodney!

I hope they do Godzilla vs Mothra at some point. One of my faves.
Nothing better when you're stuck in bed than a new video from the boys! Damn it, I love listening to these guys!
They are still making King Kong movies?
He's pals with Godzilla now

Been here since the start still to this day I genuinely don't know how this channel doesn't have at least over a million subs
Their Mr Sunday Movies channel with the full video versions of caravan of garbage does have over a million subs.
@@DesX42S I know I clearly said this channel??

It's because everyone prefers the channel that has video along with the audio, so they all subscribe to the Mr. Sunday Movies channel.
Please do Caravan of Garbage on 1980s Ewok show and/or Caravan of Courage
Take a film class. You learn so much.
James.
