This was my dream reading journal video!! Loved seeing all your beautiful spreads, hearing your thoughts on the books, and seeing how you completed the readathons. So fun!! Thanks for sharing ❤🍓
Wow your journal is beautiful! Especially your Escape the Readathon spread! I did Realmathon and had to take a little break… 😍 I’m also doing Aeldia/Orillium and also Romantasyathon right now! I was wondering if you’d share where you got your star stickers? I’ve been looking for some!! And also the tiny little book of maps? 🤗🍓
Thank you! I think we were on the same team for Realmathon right? ⏳ the star stickers I bought in person at Daiso, and the maps are from a sticker pack on Amazon. a.co/d/0amw2rNn
@@manda_made Oh thank you! I'll keep looking for some stars!!! I was on Team Shadows! It was my first time participating and I got a little carried away lol but I'm looking forward to next year! 😀
You should! If you check out my July Plans video, I talk about lots of different Readathon options happening in July, and have all the links for where to find them. I'm going to do both the Hunger Games Readathon and the Magical Hopathon since I couldn't decide. 😂
🍓Just subscribed, your spreads are amazing!! I would love to watch more vlogs of you setting up your spreads. How do you find out about these readathons? I just discovered the Orilium readathon today!
Thank you! I‘m planning on a full set up video for June, but we’ll see. I film on my Phone, so it gets full really fast. 😂 so I mix some set up and some flip throughs. I found Orilium first; and then I saw @coverswithcassidy’s Realmathon invite. From there I joined the discord chat where others were talking about other readathons. Thank you for subscribing! I am thankful you’re here and hope you find some Inspo for your own journal. 🫶🏼
your journal is so pretty! I was so excited to read The Familiar but I keep hearing it's not that good :/ I loved Six of Crows and Hated King of scars from her so I am not sure where this one will land for me. OMG! I've never heard about The vampire diaries readathon! 👀🍓
It’s funny because Ninth House and Six if Crows are Top Tier reads for me, and her other books have just been fine. But her writing style is fantastic, so I still consider her one of my favorite authors. I really wanted to love The Familiar. I pre-ordered it in two special editions 😂 but they’re such pretty books, so I don’t mind.
Also, I think The Familiar is still worth reading. Just manage your expectations for a slower book. I haven’t heard many people talk about it yet, except for Tori between pages, who said it was a perfect book.
I’ve been finding them in discord chats during current readathons, and then just joining the next. The community element of them is what makes them so fun for me.
I’ll need to start posting more readathon content in booksta too! Enzo is an amazing character and came in at the perfect time. Be sure to check out Chloe’s channel! She is re-vamping (pun intended) next years Vampire Diaries Readathon.
Awe! Thank you friend. I first heard about the Magical Readathon by Book Roast, and started that in January, but Realmathon by @Coverswithcassidy (which I found on my TH-cam home page) was the real launching point. I joined the discord for that, and found the other readathons through the community chats. Highly recommend embracing discord for the readathons. I dont know of one happening in July yet, but if I hear of it, I’ll post it in my community feed here on TH-cam. I think I need to take a month off of readathons before the August Fall Equinox at Orilium (magical readathon).
That would be one way to do a readathon. I guess the exact definition is just a way to challenge yourself in reading within a certain timeframe. Some people unplug and read as many books as possible within a 24 hour timeframe, I tend to gravitate toward month long readathons that are community driven or team based (I’m a little competitive). Check out some of the videos I’ve linked in the description for an example of these. My favorite series recently has been the Cruel Prince series and the Daughter of the Pirate King. If you haven’t read those, check ‘em out.
@@manda_made just rememeber to keep the books and the tv show separate in your mind, like two versions of the same world but as a different universe. like in dc comics. cause there are too many differences.
@@manda_made i enjoy the teenage highschool drama of the first couple and the world and character building in the later books, I haven't read the originals or stefans diaries as those are based on the show and don't actually match the rest of the books. I loved them when I was a teenager and now at 30 having a reread is so much fun.

I've read Daughter of the Pirate King. it's so good!
It was on my TBR for sooo long and I finally got to it. So worth the wait.

The Amazing Readathon by 4 Paws and A Book is my current one. You could still join in if you want to. I’m on team fantasy 🐉
What are read athons? Is it just read x number of books per month? Cuz I haven't found a good book serries in some time and I like any recommendations

By vampire diaries readathon I thought you meant reading all the vampire diaries.
That would be a fun thing to do too! I still need to read the books.

@mopete9830 I will keep that in mind! Are the books fun? I don’t know anyone who’s actually read them.

@mopete9830 omg! Good to know. I’m reading The Dangerous Ones by Lauren Blackwood right now, and it’s giving serious VD vibes.
