    Those 2021s for 58k should be in the 45k-50k range today. None of those are "good deals" who pays new car price for a 2 and 3 year old car...those cars were about 62k new and they want 58k used? Not happening.

    • @VetOnVettes
      @VetOnVettes  29 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Unfortunately depending on how you look at it is what the market is demanding still. A C7 with around 30k miles (Stingray btw) will still fetch 45k plus (clean car no accidents etc). The C7s & C8s are simply not diminishing in value like other cars. Partial due to the fact GM made a very desirable car. Also, inflation is taking its toll as well. If prices of everything didn't go up roughly 13% the last 3-4 years then a used C8 could be had low in the low 50s and a C7 would be high 30s.

    This proves my statement that these vettes are not well made - you stated they should be bought with an extended warranty!!!
    I've purchased many Porsche and Audi vehicles and never ever had to buy an extended warranty and they were all great cars with absolutely zero issues!!!
    I think GM did well with the V8 engine especially the flat plane Z06 as well as the flat plane twin turbo in the ZR1! However, their screwed up design with the interior, HMI, small buttons down a center rail for HVAC controls along with a lot of 2nd rate design elements that causes the car not to flow and be harmonious as seen in cars by Porsche or Lamborghini! The C8 just looks like it was done by a team with zero experience in design and it shows!!!
    Lamborghini came out with the Huracan Tecnica at about the same time and you can see their intro video on YT! A world of difference! Remember, I'm talking about design and not necessarily the final manufacturered cost! GM could have done better! In fact, they would have been light years ahead if they hired Lamborghini to come up with the design and GM just manufacturered it!!!
