My cat does sit and high five but only for treats , my aunts cats are amazing last time I saw them she had them rolling over and jumpin g though a hoop
This is the blessing and curse of herding dogs! They are like velcro, always want to be where you are... always. 😄 They can go off a bit mentally when you have to be gone. If they have enough stimulation regularly it's not bad for short times apart (an afternoon), but being gone several days can make them a bit neurotic when you come back! I have a GSD/Heeler/Chow mix. She tells me everyday she knows who butters her bread! 😍 She's always a few steps ahead of me knowing what I'm going to do, so I have to be on my toes! I will say though, it's going to be hell the day she departs this world! She's 12 now, so only a few more years left with her. ☹️
@@dawnmitchell11 Make the most of those precious years. Make lots of new memories, and make sure when she does go, she's warm and surrounded with love and peace.
They’re smart dogs and can easily learn to associate tricks with praise. Which is nice as my dog has learned to give me high fives. She does it on command treat or no treat and now whenever she does something good I give her a high five 😂
He loves doing these commands. Maybe it started w/ treats, but these are working dogs. You can tell he just loves this. Working dogs are happiest when working and having tasks. They are miserable when bored.
They're really fast learners. Have you figured out how to handle her yet? I have a 14 year old Collie who is still chasing rabbits and basically anything else that moves lol. She can still learn new things in a very short space of time. So intelligent it's scary at times.
This is not normally the kind of video that you cry at. But I lost my border Collie a little over 3 years ago and I miss him every single day. He was the smartest most intelligent dog I have ever known and I worked as a vet technician for most of my life so I have seen a lot of dogs I'm only sorry I don't have him now when they're doing all that testing about dogs talking with buttons and knowing what you're saying. Your dog is so beautiful and so intelligent
Sorry for your loss. I lost my Cheweenie after 20 LOVING years. She was a total clown & loved dress up. Her name was Buckaroo Whippersnapper, we called her Buck.
I understand your pain so sorry for your loss I had to put my Beautiful princess down after she had a stroke in January I had her since she was 7 weeks old she was just shy of her 15 th birthday busted my heart the hardest thing I ever had to do I cry every day missing her great great dog she was a Beautiful beagle my ❤ my soul RIP my Beautiful Princess daddy loves you forever
Best smartest dogs ever!!! My first dog was a huge border collie named Pawnee and I've never found another dog as smart and loyal as he was!!! He waited for us to get out of school everyday and went everywhere with us three boys growing up in Winslow Arizona! Some really great memories!!!
This shows not just the intelligence, intensity & complexity of border collies' communication adaptivity, but their need to do a job. And the PERFECT job is HERDING. It is amazing how man & dog have formed a lasting bond through the ages.🐕
And that right there shows exactly why they're the best breed on the planet. They live to please you. They're loyal, obedient, loving, caring and outstanding athletes that just amaze you every day. Also bringing them for a walk is an absolute pleasure. No leash is ever needed no matter where you are. Now all of that is assuming you've trained them properly.. I've had Collies since 1998 and I'll have them until either I can't walk them anymore or I'm dead. As you can probably tell I just absolutely adore them so much.
My favourite dogs in the whole world. Never owned one.. only had labradors, but collies.. man, there’s something so beautiful about them. Incredibly intelligent dogs. As a disabled individual I’ve considered getting one in my future, & having help to train them to be a disability dog. Thank you for showing this gorgeous pup! X
They are so damned smart. You can see he wants to learn more and they need daily exercises. We own a Border Collie Mix too and he amazes me every day. They are very smart, emphatic and emotional beautiful dogs 💝🐾💝🐾💝
He is so smart and beautiful what a good boy. If I ever end up purchasing property that needs maintenance outside I will be sure to get a border collie. These dogs require stimulation and tasks what an amazing breed
Congratulations, you have done a fantastic job training him and now you are rewarded for all your hours spent with him and can be proud of your beautiful dog. Well done.!
No more beautiful sight than a dog owner who has shown the love and dedication to teach their dog some obedience. I can't stand people who get a dog, don't do the work of obedience training, then try to convince me their dog is just "excited". 🙄 Well done, miss. 😌 Also, who's a good doggie? Who's a good doggie? You!! 😁
Congratulations! A trained happy stunningly beautiful doggo! I love seeing how happy trained dogs are. Eagerly pleasing their pack leader. I feel so sad for spoit stressed unhappy untrained dogs having to make their own decisions constantly, which often have bad consequences. Love this video! Hi from Oz. 👇💜🙃
He looks like he can't wait to do the next trick.... very attentive.

They are very attentive dogs. They LOVE and require mental stimulation. They are the most intelligent dog breed.
Bruh border collies are the smartest dogs and they love being the maid of a house and cant wait for the next trick

complain was pretty good, push was my second favorite cause it reminded me of "PaRkOuR!!1!11!"
How the hell do you teach a dog that

Yeah how do you teach complain
Really? Then you'll love my dog.

Make the most of those precious years. Make lots of new memories, and make sure when she does go, she's warm and surrounded with love and peace.
Border Collies are said to be the smartest breed of dog because of how quickly they learn new tricks. This video is a great example of that!
A lot of dogs are smart, some are just incredible stubborn and independent lol
They are one of the more intelligent breeds, as are Australian Cattle Dogs, German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois.
They are work dogs that are given a lot of responsibility with herding especially sheep, very smart!
@@salilgupta9427 EQ isn’t a thing.
@@jamesken6182 You're confusing dogs with cats. All dogs are dependent and needy.

Aww he's so cute and he knows so many commands
Border Collies are so awesome! I have a rescue a little over a year and she is so smart, I don't know how to work with her. ❤
Find a good trainer- to teach you-😊 and learn how to keep her busy and learning.

HE'S SO CUTE OMG!!!❤️
Honestly with all the rest, when she said complain I kinda expected "Oh boy where do I start...?!"
On the contrary, if you don't do this with a smart dog they get bored as hell and WILL complain, all the time.
Owner: *gives command*
Dog: OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY I CAN’T WAIT!!!!!!
What a good boy! And he was so good about complaining on command!
Wow! Amazing and actually moving as well because of the powerful bond between the two. Beautiful dog.
