I have been through many videos like this. Some things kind of make me think 1. If it is so effective why are they trying to saturate the market? 2. Perfect opportunity to link their own Etsy accounts but never do, maybe because we will see the actual numbers. 3. earning SOO much from this method why even make monetized youtube vids and have affiliate links?
I'm using this as a guide to help start making sales as I just opened my online store selling posters and similar merchandise using Ai generated artwork. Plus its something I'm passionate about and one of the only things I need to do now is start designing the Ai art to sell and putting those on merchandise as well. If it goes well, I can let you know how it goes. ☺️👍 Because I'm feeling pretty positive I can start selling by March 19. Which ironically us first fay of Spring. Lol. I haven't designed any merch or art yet but it's next on the list!! 🙌
Thank you for this amazing detailed video! Creating art with AI it's so cool! Specially for people like me who is very imaginative but can't really draw! Now, I've dived deep into this ai art thing for weeks now, and have found that this is potentially dangerous, because it has been proved already that ai sometimes generates exact copies of the images it learned with, and in a lot of cases is creating sort of "collage" pulling different images and putting them together. The thing is those images were created by real people, artists and their images were used without consent, so this should used with caution. I personally love the option to draw inspiration to create different assets, but I wouldn't just download and sell.
Thank you for saying this. I know a lot of people are giving artists a hard time because we say it's wrong. There's always someone out there willing to take a commission and help people bring their thoughts out into the real world. I think some folks just assume it may be more expensive than it is for smaller projects and cheaper than it is for bigger projects.

@@thesugarpuppie I looked into this and it’s true. Midjourney specifically states that the images can be used for personal use only. I strongly suggest that people read the terms of use for any ai platform they’re using.
Soo.... Let's say I design a tool that works really well for doing up screws... Then a year later... Someone else comes along and makes a better version of my tool, based off what I created... Using parts of my idea.. but it's completely different... There's literally nothing to stop anyone doing that... Nor is that illegal...
And unfortunately for "artists" it's the same thing...
Why would people buy AI "art", when they can just go to Midjourney and create a piece they want?

Wanted to share. It took me forever to find, Printful really wants you to just “finish your store”….. But your share of each sale is about 1-5 dollars depending on how reasonably you price. Which honestly isn’t bad considering you’re not doing anything other than set up. It’s a good place to start. Thank you for the idea!!

AI art IS NOT copyright free art! The AI generators have been using previously copyrighted artwork from artists all obverse the internet, without paying them royalties or even recognizing their “contribution”, which was literally stolen without permission. An AI program cannot, by itself, think or create like a human artist. It uses already downloaded images from the internet and has attached tags describing the artwork, including the name of the artist.
When you use AI programs, you are unknowingly stealing art from an artist because you aren’t paying them a royalty when you produce the art.
If you were to make a print “in the style of Banksy”, it will literally refer to Banksy’s artwork. If said artist finds you are selling your own slightly altered reproduction of his work, he can easily sue you and most likely for triple the damages. If you made $5000 off the image, you’ll owe him $15,000 and will have to pay court fees, including his attorney fees at $300-500/hour.
Then he can tack on social damages in the millions. It’s not worth it and it is not ethical.
For this reason, Monique, I cannot support your channel.

Awesome video. Couple of things Sales Samaria is like $10 a month after the free trial. Mid journeys $10 plan only give you so many prompts a month (TBH should be well more than enough for most people.). If you want unlimited its like $25 a month. Minor once I sell a couple of $500 prints. Thank you.
Too bad the work is not covered by the copyright office, and others can use the same program to make similar things as you. You essentially have 0 protection and if it looks too similar to the work of a real artist that has their work under copyright that is a lawsuit waiting to happen especially since they can prove that you are profiting by making work in the same art style as them

@Elith Luxe not exactly the program heavily requires the works made by other artists to essentially make something for you. That being said the same system doesn't protect your work from being taken. The copyright office does not find ai art to be under copyright since it can also infringe on copywritten works. They require the full process of the work being made as proof that it isn't copyright. There are lawsuits on this and disney has taken action against ai art

@Elith Luxe as long as you aren't profiting from it, you should be good. Just don't claim it as your own work or use the "in the style of [insert artist here]" Because that can get you into legal issues. Copyright will also not protect you against copyright strikes for usage of ai art should it look too similar to the work of a traditional or digital artist. It's very complicated so be wary

I stopped doing printify because if someone buys that $100 poster...they take that money out of your checking account. I honestly keep loosing money. So now I just do ditigal downloads. No shipping fees. No 100s of dollors coming ouy of your accounts when someone orders. Your just paying for the 20cents to list it.

I like how content creators make it look so easy peazy when it's not. Why don't they mention or exlpain the fees involved with Etsy and Printify first and how are people going to see your product, like marketing and advertising, It's not going to sit on Etsy and sell itself. So much more to this than meets the eye, If it was this easy everybody would be rich. Keep your goals realistic and based on reality, not on a you tuber content creator who, guarantee does not use any of the hustles they promote on their channel.

Yeah even midjourney, they cost money they only have a one time free trial and its laid out in a way that can get you pretty fast. You only have about 50 free generations of images. and that means if you have to redo any you will not be able to do 50 different sales. You will only be able to do so many. And yes the fees on printiful and etsy, and any other thing. Every small thing you do will have fees, so it isn't free. And no where in here did I actually see her demonstrate making 400 dollars a day doing this. It isn't that simple and is infact misleading a bit. Especially since she doesn't talk about the fact that midjourney can make some pretty bad generation photos when trying to get down a style. For example say someone tried to make anime art. very popular. Well yeah but midjourney struggles with human beings and tends to give them extra arms legs, fingers, toes, off kilter eyes, anything non photorealistic you will have to touch up yourself with photoshop skills or you will have to endlessly generate in hopes it stops messing up. Just something to be aware of. If you go in thinking it will generate a perfect image every time you would be wrong.
Yeah, I didn't see anything on Etsy when I searched "abstract art" or "abstract wall art". That means there isn't any demand and you can't find a similar listing. I use Everbee for research, and if there isn't a similar listing, I can't get keywords and product descriptions to use on my own listing. She makes so many videos - I doubt any of these are even proven. It takes time to build up a marketplace account, youtube account, etc. What is all this "make $10k or $15k a month" crud?
@@KatisWritingStill same goes for playgroundai. some... people make it feel big and relevant. but it can't handle basic differences in numbers, positioning characters ON a field, instead of sticking their heads into the field of flowers, and so on. nothing in AI image hobby magically works to 100%, well at least not on my level which is complete free of costs or premium whatever deals... and zero stab diffusion on my system, i can only use online sources. and that playground, while 1000 free images daily, it limits your quality quickly, and many images still have watermarks on them, the stuff taken from chinese art websites, it's quite pathetic.

It is incredibly saturated and has lost a ton of steam because of it. a single person could generate hundreds of paintings daily i have seen ai artist in youtube that have amassed hundreds of pieces in a month.....don't bother

Ok. So I really don’t mean to ruin it because I love your videos and I know they have helped a lot of people to find jobs. But I do have to say that you don’t make $400 at day. I have tried print on demand business and you HAVE to know before you start:
1) Etsy charges you $0.20 for each listing
2) printful/printify charges up front for each product the costumer orders you have to pay for it and you end up making after Etsy selling fees, listing fee, shipping cost etc. about $2 profit
3) you have to pay for marketing to get yourself out there and that takes $$
4)you have to make nice mock ups (pictures of the products in your listings, because if you have bad quality pictures highly possible you won’t sell) making mock ups takes time.
All of this takes time and money. If you want to give it a try you can, but I felt the need to share the other side of the coin (reality).
PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT AI ART, PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT ART THEFT. This is ALL it is!!

Honestly this does not deserve to be called “art”. All you are doing is generating images that are combinations of images created by actual artists that were put into a system without their consent. If you’re using AI IMAGES to sell for profit take the words “create”, “make”, “imagination” and “design” out of your vocabulary. You didn’t make, design, or create anything. If you wanna sell art so bad I encourage you learn to make it yourself. Anyone can learn art and it doesn’t have to take years to do it. It doesn’t have to be a complex masterpiece it can be simple. I miss when AI was just used to make stupid images for laughs and memes. Selling AI IMAGES not art but images feels like a slap in the face to people who actually spent their time to learn the aspects of art in order to improve and perfect their craft.

Just an FYI there is more AI art. That you can use your original painting . And have the AI add. Just like she did with the lion and crown
If you use your own artworks to seed it, instead of using words, the result can be entirely copyrighted by you. If you just use word prompts, the result is not copyright able - according to the U.S. Copyright Office.
Hello, do you have any artwork available for sale?
before you go into this thinking you’re going to make money in a day here are a few things you need to know :
1) how to correctly communicate prompts to the Ai you are using (not all are created equal, some are more advanced)
2) knowing your market, niche and product research. Before you create things that only you like, get to know audiences and know what sells the most atm, once you know this info proceed to make the art.
3) some softwares are slow, buggy or limited in how much you can use for free in one day. Take this into consideration, you may have to pay out of pocket to upgrade the softwares and use to its max capacity.
