Just saw her live this week. As good as these live videos are, trust me when I say she will blow your f'in mind at a live show. Still struggling to put into words how amazing of a singer she is.
@@guivenditti I saw her in St Catherines on the Wed. As much as I loathe going into Toronto I considered it just to see her again lol. I had never heard "Souls" before, which she opened with (probably at both shows). I just sat there with my jaw on the floor. The pitch control high up during the chorus was insane. Will never forget that.
YOU SOUND SOOOO FUCKING GREAT! THAT DEEP PIANO NOTES AND YOUR VOICE! I HAVE LOVED YOU SINCE 1995! THEY don't play you in the states. AMERICAN radio stations have no taste nor control. It's OUR LOSS! I LOVE YOU!
Haha funny when i first heard it when i was a teenager, i though it was it was a Dido song. Because i was a huge fan of her, but i discoverd another amazing artist. I am glad i stumbled upon this song, it resonates so much with me.
I like what she says about the origins of this song. She taps into something very powerful about love -- easy to construe on several levels, like Margaret Wise Brown's The Runaway Bunny -- with a soaring talent to suggest them all,.
Hi, Thank you for posting this. I guess you don't happen to have recording of the entire Songwriter's Circle episode. I am really curious what they talked during the program.
she's amazing! Truly underrated. Heard this song in Smallville for the first time, years ago.

Me too! Saw her at Massey Hall almost 2 weeks ago and I am still dumbfounded!

Yes...I'm from Oz.. Well the Tin Man rusted up but at least he wasn't floppy like the scarecrow
she talks too much lol but she's great
Show is called "songwriters circle". She just articulated very clearly and insightfully what she wrote this song about.
I liked hearing what was important to her.
