We've been waiting for SO LONG for this most anticipated BL movie from the past year and it's finally HERE o m g
I'm happy I managed to avoid ALL the spoilers from the internet, despite being surrounded by tons of Given fans 0__0 I know many of you wanted me to react even to the trailer but I didn't want to have ANY glinch of it whatsoever so it could be a reaction as blind as possible, plus I didn't listen to any new songs that were released until now. Yeah I made myself suffer even like that but it was WORTH waiting ;w;
Even now I can't believe Given made my channel this big the way it is now and I'm happy I get to have a fresh touch with it again, feels like forever since then.

Ugetsu's talent really came between them. Kaji couldn't help being jealous of it and knowing your lover is hurt by your talent has to make it hard when that talent is basically the center of your life. They caused pain for each other despite loving each other and it was neither one's fault. Kaji's situation is even more difficult once you take into consideration something else that was glossed over - his parents gave him some money and left when they got divorced. He was pretty much abandoned by them. The money ran out a while ago and Kaji refused to contact them for more. He's very stuck - all those jobs pay his school tuition, his studio fees, his instrument upkeep, and his living expenses (no rent though, since Ugetsu lets him live there for free). He's not joking when he says he has nowhere to go. His only idea of "home" was Ugetsu until Haruki took him in. Living with Haruki let him experience a different kind of family life, helped him finally break free of that twisted hold he and Ugetsu have over each other. Ahh, the angst was strong in this one, but it was a healing angst...eventually. Thanks to Mafuyu's beautiful song.

It’s so crushing knowing all that about Kaji and his development really got me and admire him even more. No wonder why he is my favorite. They loved each other that much that they were seeing only perfection, which to a certain level that “perfection” turns unhealthy, that’s why they’ve become toxic for each other and it crushes my heart...but life goes on ;-; I’m extremely sorry for Ugetsu but at least Haruki is there for Kaji ;-;
Yes, that “next to react: MDZS” on my MAL’s bio has been forever there😆 I’ve been planning to react for a very long time but sadly my schedule keeps pulling me back to ‘on hold’ ;-; so the videos will be slowly released on that, just like with Free series T-T I’m truly sorry for being so slow~
I still hate Kaji a little for what he did to Haruki, I would have liked the author to develop more the redention cuz it felt a little rushed to give them their "happy ending", but I'm glad that Haruki is happy because he is the best boi
Well, it was a movie, so it had to be rushed, but at the same time this story is going for a few months so it's not TOO fast for the anime world XD
Same. When I read the manga the first time and I came to that part, I wanted to throw something because it ruined Kaji for me for a while. I understood why he did that, but I wanted him to WORK for Haruki's forgiveness. Not just cut him out and then appear after saying he loves him. Like, I just wanted them to talk properly before then. I wanted him to explain to Haruki what he could never voice before. I still like them together, and they were my ship since the beginning of Given, but that part irritated me so much.

Kaji is a flawed character and that’s why I like him. I can honestly really relate to him too I’ve made a lotta bad choices and tend to have a hard time reaching out for others when I need help instead I’d rather stay in what I’m used to even if it’s bad for me. I felt made at him for what he did to Haruki but midway through I realized I emotionally did the same thing to people in my life. I’m changing because I realized I deserve better.

The OVA will be Hiiragi and Shizu loves story .. and also the MC mafuritsuka .. and i cant wait to hear the song Yuuki writes for mafuyu.. with the help of Ritsuka😊
Just a FYI there was a tiny end scene after credits. It was like 15 sec long I think
I think the problem with Kaji and Ugetsu is that they don't build each other, they can't and instead they destroy each other. and I don't think they meant to do that, but that what it become and it is very toxic and very hard to break cause they so accustomed to each other it becomes a bad habit to always come back to each other despite they both know it bad for them.
I think Kaji stop mid-way, but still, that move was very shitty from his side taking his frustration on baby Haruki. and I wish they show Taka and Haruki side more =_=
When it came out I automatically watched it at like 11 at night, I was waiting for this for so long!! Also I ugly cried!! 😭😭😭😭 The movie was so good!!!

It's not development in the relationship but it's a crack in their relationship. Its assault
