You are a good father 😢 . I wish If I had a father like you . I am almost 50 years old and I miss my SEGA mega drive . You brought my childhood back and I got my first Nintendo switch and ps5 😊😊😊😊. Thank you 🙏
Love redacted, but this down to earth no bullshit talk about games and gaming, that is this hobby at its purest, and thats sorely missing in our age. Thank you for making our hobby great again😉
Rainy days and old PS1 games are a mood. I'll never forget playing Final Fantasy Tactics on the rare few days a year it would rain in LA. Now I want to play Symphony of the Night in a European castle in autumn.
You're a legend and I'm so happy I found your gaming channel. Wish you all the best during the wild parts of your journey. Gaming and nostalgia is an incredible thing to share with family. I hope to never lose the joy of playing and talking about games. More I see CEX stores the more I wish we had them in the states 🇺🇸 Also Metroid Dread is PHENOMENAL 🤩
" If you're not experiencing some kind of discomfort, you're not growing." Couldn't agree more, especially coming from a man who hates change and loves comfort. 😎
Interesting how just the idea of setting up a game room just elevates the spirit. Looking forward to seeing your one-click system for all your consoles in the new place.
Thanks Clayton. I love watching our other channel's content, but really enjoy this side too. Basically just a great set of people. All the best to you all.
It's great to hear you've reconnected with gaming, I think it's a pretty valuable respite from the insanity going on over these last few years. I don't know what I'd do without them at this point, definitely got me through lockdown. But as a fellow American expat in Europe, I'm sorry to hear you're leaving. It was nice knowing you guys were close by. And a little surprising, given how insane and dangerous the USA is now, as you of all people know. You couldn't pay me to go back. After being here for a bit over a decade, I have to say I'd rather be average or even poor in Europe than making bank in America. Regardless I wish you and your family the best! Thank you for all the work that you do keeping us all informed. PS: If you're going to continue down the classic JRPG route, definitely check out Final Fantasy, especially X/X-2/XII! ✌
NGL, Clayton, it would be HARD for me to give up Portugal and ESPECIALLY that video game room! I love your passion for gaming. It's nice to see some guys (close) to my age still into the hobby.
Nice video my friend. You’re a breath of fresh air when it comes to gamer TH-camr. I appreciate this video coming from a Portuguese living in Canada. And yes Canada sucks now.
I love Portugal, coming from austria. Portuguese people are so busy, friendly, humble people, and the country is incredible. I like the climate with mild, rainy winters and not so hot summer (except of algarve area) and environment there, much more lovely than in spain. Also rich culture (going back to moors occupation time), very clean cities and absolutely stunning, cool places like Porto and Lisbon (with bridges like in San Francisco - because the same architect planned them), delicious, healthy food with a lot of vegetables with great taste and quality. Incredible oranges and wine! Not to forget Madeira and the absolutely paradise-like Acores, which belong to Portugal! A place for retirement. Me, looking at the calendar: Just 4.5 years to go... Not so far away.
Your story relates to mine when you were explaining, growing up in the 80s and working 15 years in a professional capacity. I grew up playing Atari and the first Nintendo. I missed out on most early consoles. I remember I had won a PS1 at a company Christmas party, and I hadn’t played for so long I didn’t know what to do with it. I had children and I took it out of storage brand new from the box in 1998 and got back into it. Later in 2016 I retired from my career and now I have PS4,PS5 and Xbox series X 😂 and I am loving it.
It's nice seeing someone plowing through life with such ferocity and joy simultaneously. Good for you, man. 👍 I wish you all the best in your newest chapter.
Being an avid gamer for most of my life ( zx spectrum being my 1st I understand your passion for gaming as well as honest reporting. Good luck to you and your family on your move.
Ever played Gothic 1 through 3? Music, scenery, quests, open-world, simply the most awesome RPG ever, in my opinion! Gothic 2 NOTR my favorite for the gameplay/quests/story line.
Love your gaming channel Clayton! Thank you for your vlog today..what a great perspective! Love watching Redacted as well..thank you guys for bringing the real news to all of us!
It is a funny coincidence to me, that I discovered Redacted more or less at the same time as I started working for a Portuguese company. I am from Poland mind you and this direction is pretty rare for us I think. Been a gamer my whole life and have worked in the games industry ever since I finished my education. Love watching Redacted and this channel too. Peace!
Im in Canada and I remember playing xbox live in the mid 2000’s and half the players were British in certain games. Eg. TOCA Race Driver. It’s odd to hear that Xbox is not more Popular across Europe. Best of luck with the move!
I admire you, im 37 single no kids , but my dream was to live with my brothers, they are all either married or with kids , i was that one in the family that learned self awareness before them , knowing that my family are all narcissistic, my dad was into drugs , i just wish my dad was like you..
Great video. Looking forward to see where you move too.Come on down to Pa. I live in York about a mile from the Harley plant. Safe travels and God bless
Going through radical life changes, and having to adapt to many things all simultaneously, can be stressful but also very rewarding in new experiences and growth. I think a lot of people are too conservatively minded and risk-averse to be willing to try radical new things. Props to you and your family for adapting. Video games really are a special media unlike all others in providing fun, competition, but also enrichment and even comfort in a new or foreign place. Best wishes
Lovely vlog, hope the move went well, appreciate the work you guys do and happy gaming! Keep us updated at the new place with new gaming spaces etc. Redacted is best
Clayton, your attic space was so cool and unique. Hard to top that as a "man cave" lol. Since you're into retro, and on the subject of regional restrictions, one good alternative is PC emulation! I suggest a living room PC you can just hook up to your TV and a controller.
Awesome Clayton. Thanks for sharing your life's journey. Much respect for taking the road less traveled and having a more fulfilling experience, even if it was some extra work at times. You should check out Diablo 1 & 2 on PC. They're classics. You might really enjoy the grinding/exploring/leveling up aspect of the game with it's highly themed storylines. Play that game on a dark night with the rain going.
Hey, Clayton! Have you tried a steam deck? I play with it all the time a wide variety of games. It is especially perfect for older games which you seem to prefer more :)
This is the first time I was recommended your Video Game channel. I feel like I just came from Redacted to Regamer. 😁 Sometimes our whole family will sit and watch Redacted when taking breaks. We are Game and Software developers, but it is kind of Shadow Lab development stuff. We do not make ourselves public or what we work on... for now. I am subscribed but for some reason TH-cam never recommends this channel or notifies me of uploads. DOH! Forgot to click the Bell.🙄
Been going back through the chronicles version of Ys 1&2 on steam would really be nice if they remade the games again with a more modern touch like Ys 8
What a beautiful country. My parents love visiting. I need to go someday. When you buy games in Portugal are they in Portuguese by default? Do you ever play games in Portuguese? I would think that would be a good and fun way to learn the language.
I'm more of a turn based tactical RPG gamer. Have you tried the Front Mission games? Square Enix recently made a remake for their first 2 Front Mission games.
This was an amazing video Clayton. I’ve been following your investment and news channel since early 2020. I took up your advice on starting a side hustle. So I sell mostly retro authentic Pokémon games on the side. I usually bring in at least $800 a month in addition profit.
Hi Clayton play fahrenheit indigo prophecy its a bit old but i highly recommend its masterpiece amazing stroytelling shamanism climate change wow that game was amazing then and it is amazing now. have fun
I wouldn't even know what they would put in an arcade these days. Modern games are so expensive to develop, can they afford to charge only quarters? If I walked into an arcade today, I would asking where is the Bubble Bobble? That's what would be on my brain lol. Or maybe Donut Dodo as that's what I've been playing on the switch. Before that I was playing Full Quiet, which is billed as a twenty hour NES game. Easily a top 10 NES game if it had been released in the day.
This Is The First Video I've Watched At Normal Speed In A Very Long Time. I Guess Maybe From One Gamer To Another, Take It Slow And Enjoy The Experience Was The Message In This Slow, Comforting Video. Cheers! To You And The Family! 🫶

nice to meet the real Clayton - love Redacted - Love from Australia

Love redacted, but this down to earth no bullshit talk about games and gaming, that is this hobby at its purest, and thats sorely missing in our age. Thank you for making our hobby great again😉

I've been watching Redacted for a few years now and I never took you as a gamer Clayton.
This video made me feel better. Thanks! it's fun to know you more and more.
Wish you a good transition in your life!
Thanks so much.

Thanks Ren. Yes I found some gems in these CEX stores. Been to like 8 of them across Europe and they always had something unique.

Seeing you holding a Y's disc and then talking about Xenoblade Chronicles.... Dude I have no words, you have great taste in games!!!!!
Thanks Clayton. I love watching our other channel's content, but really enjoy this side too. Basically just a great set of people. All the best to you all.
Man, i know you from redacted and never had you for a gamer. Being a gamer too, and probably the same age, that was a pleasant surprise.
OG X BOX STARSKY & HUTCH IS BALLER‼️
Have one guy Sh@@t, one guy drive, it’s a blast. 💥
Would love to see you do a walkthrough of some games or just an hour or two of playing a game would be fun to watch
These are my favorite videos to watch.
Clay!!! I took your advice. Xenoblade chronicles 3 is OUTSTANDING! I can't put it down! Thank you so much, man!
Good Candid stuff bud, love Redacted

Yeah it was hard to give up that space for sure! But going to build a new one soon.
Nice video my friend. You’re a breath of fresh air when it comes to gamer TH-camr. I appreciate this video coming from a Portuguese living in Canada. And yes Canada sucks now.
You could combine a gaming + productivity video! I'd love a case-study on how you get so much done + family & rest!!! Thanks for the inspiration!
