Wow, this brings back memories. Those graphics haven't aged well but I remember being really proud of all of my really well thought out and well themed parks... Until the last level where they just wanted more everything and I was really annoyed that I couldn't keep everything nice and tidy like I wanted. I seem to remember that my favourite thing though was the advert for Legoland Billund because I found the Danish song fascinating.
I was able to complete the game, but the variety think really got to me, especially when it wasn't available (on Level 10 especially) What bugged me about Free Play mode was there was a limit to how much you could use and some things took up so much. Otherwise, I liked it a lot.
Ah, the dragon BBQ. It inspired me to make my own spice for a chop dish. We had really thick beef chops when I was a lad in Norway. They were called "king chops", so I imagined it being served at the court of The royal king and it was prepared by Majisto and his young dragon (Ollie). So I gave it my own seasoning, seasoned really spicy noodles with a regular BBQ sidedish. Ah, those were the times.. Lego and Lego games has shaped my childhood a lot
Thanks for the upload! I remember playing that when I was a kid. It was just moments before I learned of The Sims existence. I don't have the game anymore and I've heard it's impossible to boot it on 64 bit PCs, so much appreciated for that nostalgic trip :D
Glad to help! :D Yeah, for better or worse, I saw the writing on the wall when disk drives started getting phased out, and figured -- for archival purposes if nothing else -- it would be good to make sure there were recordings out there for people to come back to.
Genuinely, this is the main reason (besides liking the games m'self, obvs) I made the decision to put the vids together. Even back on Windows 7, it was a combination of luck, patience, and serious debugging getting some of these games running; if I can help people relive the nostalgia without having to crack open a .dll themselves, I'm all for it.
The thing that always got me to fail was always having one of each ride or attraction. Never been to an amusement park with 2 of the same rides side by side. Lol

I never could pass level 6 lol always got told I needed more variety.
