@@XtremeCoasters I'll try promote you channel to my friends since we're all huge theme park geeks and ill drop a sub and like to show my appreciation! I hope the channel grows good luck!
I remember going on this with my mum. I was no older than 5 or 6 and I loved it! It was my favourite ride, with The Dragon a close second. Really fond memory's.
5:04 Fun Fact: The pirate lighting a fuse on the left was the main protagonist of the original ride. He interacted with guests like saluting when he first sees you and giving you directions by indicating with his hand. Why they reduced him to just this scene only, I will never know. I liked him better than Blackheart. I think the original ride is just better in general.
This ride annoys me slightly, sometimes when you ride it, props will spray water at you. But then, a few months later, you could ride it and there is no water affects at all. This is exactly what happened to me.
@@XtremeCoasters I'm currently employed as an LSA at a further education college, and we recently did a trip to Thorpe Park. I was the only person in the group who thought to bring a raincoat. Before getting on Tidal Wave, I put on my raincoat, zipped it up and put up the hood. All the other staff and students who came on the ride got soaked like a bunch of drowned rats. My jeans were soaked (hence why I think waterproof trousers would be a good idea), but my T-shirt stayed dry. From what I've noticed, though, it doesn't seem to occur to most people to wear raincoats on Tidal Wave. I guess they just don't know what to expect.
I love legoland but only been once in yr 1 (like 7 😂) and going this year in 2 weeks time so wanna know what the minimum amount of people is in 1 boat as I'm going with my dad and he hates water rides and never goes on a log flume 😂 never been on one on my own before always been with my mam or friends
You can ride yourself if you want, there isn't a minimum as far as we're aware. We've ridden ourselves a few times. If the park is busy however and the ride has a long line, there is every chance another 1 or 2 people will get sat behind/in front of you (depending on where you choose to sit).
Remember when this was my favourite theme park this was my favourite ride watching it now it feels kinda boring for an older kid (tidal wave Thorpe park is great)
It's a good traditional log flume 🙂 They're unfortunately becoming few and far between, especially in the UK. Hopefully you'll get to give it a try on your next visit.
If you want thrilling go to Thorpe park its literally 20 mins away its aimed at kids so its not gonna be like the smiler or something just use your hesd next time😑😑😖😖😔😔😔😔😔
Thanks for the nostalgia when i was 7 i cried as we slowly went up the lift hill and my cousin and auntie were laughing their heads of at me😅😅😅

I remember going on that ride I loved it! Still do!
Brings back so many memories.
Hopefully it will be around for many years to come. The UKs log flumes are slowly disappearing from parks, there aren't too many left.
Me and my son love that ride thank you for uploading videos like these
Thank you, pleased you're enjoying them 🙂
Loggers leap alternative. Over 5 years ago the theme park was so deserted hardly any people. My mates and I went on this 12 times over and over
this ride was so fun, especially the drop.
We liked it too. It's far better on a warmer day though 🙂
SOLID ride theming! Great POV too!
Thank you 🙂
Wow we are going to a trip here cant wait to see this
Have fun 🙂
@@XtremeCoasters Thanks
@@XtremeCoasters Oops I edited the message
Very fond memories of the original ride (The Dragon too) as a young whipper snapper in the late 90s/early 2000s!

Wow, didn't know that. Thanks for sharing 😀 We never got to ride the original, this is the only version we know.
@@XtremeCoasters You can see POV rides of the original ride on here 😃
@@bunchberry9957 Going to have a look now 😁

Waited 2 fricking hours for this ride
It can get extremely busy, especially in the holidays.
went for a school trip today, the queues were all like 2 minutes
@@RichRBLX Weekdays in term time always seem to be quieter. We visited on a Wednesday, and most rides were walk on :)

Go back and try the new speedway it’s so fun❤
We will at some point 🙂
Great theming and great water. Thanks.😊 overall great log ride!

I believe it depends on the weather when you visit. The park tones down the soaking on cooler days.
I went on that ride and I loved it!❤
We did too 🙂 It's a classic!
I remember going on this as a child, good memories
❤️
Is the graves apart of the ride
They sure are 🙂

I remember going in this not long ago the best thrill although I did not want to go in it my belly turned but defo will go again!
@@RubieRaiFay It's a classic, and a lot of fun!
Looks as though you'll want a raincoat for this. It's not like Tidal Wave at Thorpe Park, though - for that, you'll want waterproof trousers too.
😂 Yes, Tidal Wave is a drencher!

@@petercdowney 🤣 Clearly not. The 30ft splash should give it away though!
@@XtremeCoasters You don't even have to actually be on the ride to get wet!
@@XtremeCoasters Thankfully, I hold a Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Award so I do have a pair of waterproof trousers.
I almost jumped out tye boat when I was 5 as I didn’t wanna go up 😭😭😭
Went to LL last week. This ride was unfortunately not available
That's a shame 😕 At least you'll have something new to look forward to the next time you visit 🙂

🤣
This made me remember when i was going down this and i was shocked for my kife and my mate was happy
I thought the head use to tilt and switch from left to right as you went up

i went with my school here and i went on this one and i screamed on the drop, plus, the seats were all wet
You can get pretty drenched on it, thankfully we got off lightly when we rode it, most of the jets were off, or just missed us 🙂
yea
So solid ride!
Yes, agree. We thought it was great 🙂
Thanks.
The best thing at Lego land is when you can go home after queuing for ages and your feet and legs ache best advice is don't go
I went there when l was 11 andl cried on the hill my sister laughed at mee 😂😂😂

word of advice, do not do four adults in one log. Big mistake

No rapids and only one tiny drop? BORING!!
The kids seem to love it though 😁

Not soaked, but wet enough for it to be enjoyable.
