I have one with 3" shell It Hurts. but not as bad to be on the receiving end. I had experience people say it hurts to shoot. It would be a great Bear Gun light to carry who would care about the recoil. try 3.5 inch for a recoil kick.

I've had the 3 inch and probably the 3.5 too in my arsenal at one point or another. From what I remember, yes they kick a bit harder.

Does it have a plug? For waterfowl I can only have 3 shells

Yes it does, and it's removable.
