Palace fan here. Really good video. We're delighted to still be in the Premier League 6 years after this video. Hope you get to see another match at Selhurst, as the football has been so entertaining under Oliver Glasner.
Fantastic concise factual information about one of the oldest football clubs in the world. Well done for including that the club originally dates back to 1861 👍🆙1️⃣0️⃣⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️💙❤️💙🦅
Thanks a lot!!! i'm from Mexico, I support Arsenal but have an affinity for Crystal Palace, too many things that I wanted to know and you explained in less than 15 min, keep up the good work!
Hey Juan! Thanks so much for checking out the video and for the kind words. Really happy you enjoyed it and found it useful. And thanks for subscribing to the channel 🤙
You need to mention that Palace is the nearest to Brighton. Many people in England can;t understand that it's a local derby - because Brighton are on the South Coast and palace are in London - but the 2 teams catchment areas for supporters border each other - thus meaning that some areas of Sussex are part Palace and Part Brighton supporting areas (Brighton is in the county of Sussex) - hence the rivalry
They’re on my list to do at some point. Tough to find time to make videos these days, but I’ll get to them (hopefully sooner rather than later but can’t promise that). Thanks for the suggestion! 🍻
I’ve watched all these videos for the premier league teams as I try and choose my favorite team. I’m trying not to be the basic American Manchester United fan. So far I’m having a hard time choose between wolves and crystal palace. Anyone have any more resources for information?
Very Good just one error. Ian Wright came from non league football Dulwich Hamlet and was not from the Palace youth set up. I think he was 26 when he joined
Hey John! I appreciate the support. I’m actually taking an indefinite break from the channel right now as I go through a personal situation. I hope to be back sometime later this year though. I have some other requests for videos but I’ll add BCAFC to my list. Thanks! 🍻
@@TheSoccerTavern No problem. He managed us on four separate occassions, took us to our first FA cup final in 1990, won the Zenit Data Systems Cup and took us to our highest ever top-flight finish (3rd). He also signed a lot of the players you note in the late 80's-90's; Wright from non-league, Geoff Thomas, Nigel Martyn.
