I can listen to Doris speak all day and night about her store and love of vintage clothes. Thank you Doris for reminding us in the US it IS a privilege to vote. Also love the Patrick Kelly jacket. I am from SF, CA and have been subscribing to your YT channel for almost 8 months now. Seen every posting and you continue to teach me about a designer, fabric, style choice, museum pieces etc. I truly enjoy you and your team for putting together great content. Thank you
As a woman 'of a certain age' who fully appreciates the breathability and temperature control provided by natural textiles, I really enjoyed your chuckle and comment on the polyester fabric. So many beautiful pieces. Thank you for showing accessories consistently as well.
I love your video. I learn so much about designers and design. I would love it if you would teach a class on the different designs. You have more knowledge on design than anyone I have every known. I’m a sponge when you speak. Thank you and please keep it up.
This is the only TH-cam channel that my partner actively watches with me. He said he enjoys the content because he learns something every time. He also watched every episode of Frock Stars.
One of the things I like to do to pick myself up is go onto the closet and play with the clothes I have collected the colors and beautiful designs make me happy even if there is no place to go show them off they still make me feel beautiful to have them on I love this channel and what you do to show us how to have some class
Nice to see you collecting vintage of all kinds and not just name brands. American made and union pieces were sound designs and off labels were gorgeous!
I like to watch this videos because of Doris's comments are too funny to me, and need some funny moments in my life now. Some of these dresses are very elegant and pretty, some you got to have special taste and body to wear them.
Another great episode. I love how the outfits (wearable art, in my opinion), speak volumes about the time periods and clientele for which they were created. So much history in each garment. Never tire of watching your channel.
That black jacket with green would have been great for the Schitt’s Creek episode. Laura Ashley brings back so many memories! We used to have to go to London to get it or ask someone going over to bring something, anything back 😂
I am sooo glad I was in the prime of my life in the 70's and 80's and was able to wear similar fashions!! Just wish I would have kept more of my clothing. Great video!!!
My friend's Dad designed for I Magnin, His name was Larry Rothchild. I will ask his wife to check this video out. As usual I love the blouse you are wearing!
My favourite was the 1970s wrap dress and faux fur blue jacket. I have been inspired to buy 1970s style clothing from Oxfam. I was a child in the 1970s and some of the fashions . The polyester dress with horrible pattern is very much in fashion as is the slip dress .
Wonderful words of wisdom with what you said at the end of the video about something magical about sharing things with our passion. Your passion shines bright beautiful! ♥️ God bless you and your team
I love your videos Doris but the audio in this on really hurt my ears. Your mic was very buzzy today and it was picking up the traffic outside. The green dress is dreamy.
I think my ex-wife's best friend had that black dress with the green lapel collar! (or it's doppelganger) It was 1985-86-87 and we lived in Albuquerque, NM. That would mean she bought it at either Dillard's, Broadway, or Goldwater's/Sanger-Harris/Foley's (that store was on the name-of-the-month club!). She was not a petite girl. Seeing it made me instantly remember the smell of Clinique's Aromatics Elixir!
Been following your Channel for a while now so I’m pleased to hear your shout out to the guys. Would love a menswear focussed episode, as I’m forever in search of good vintage menswear (where have all the 40s/50’s high waist pleat front pants disappeared to? Damn it Lol).
I love the clothes, the lesions , and what you are wearing today. You look especially good. My favorite designer is J Jill. Of course I love so many of the older designers as well. I believe it is, how you dress, not what you are wearing that really matters. Mixing works well. Thanks for another good vlog.
Doris, your passion is our passion too and thank YOU for sharing your treasures with those of us who can't get there to see them for ourselves. I am familiar with Laura Ashley dresses but I've never seen one that isn't floral before. I have a 1994 dress that will need rehoming soon.
Another fantastic show! Applause to you and your team for all of your hard work to bring these beautiful videos to us! You are all like a fashion time machine and I would be lying if I didn't admit that I think that you are fashionably hot! Something special about Doris! Always loving you too diamond girl!
Hello Doris and friends! I SO enjoy your channel... and look forward to our journeys back in time through fashion. Bravissima! Can I ask that you include more photos of people wearing the items that you’re featuring? It’s fun to see a “modern” human wearing these vintage garments. Just an idea 💡❤️ 🤷🏻♀️ And... if you do include more photos of people, can some of them be fuller-figured or average sized? I do understand that vintage clothing is traditionally small... Thanks and blessings to you all❣️✨✨
God I love these videos, but could I make one suggestion? Studies tend to find that shorter titles result in higher viewership, so maybe something to consider, alongside maybe adding more hashtags so that the videos will flag up more? Just because you guys deserve ALL of the subscribers (Oh and that Patrick Kelly jacket is ridiculously good)
O I would love to purchase that amethyst pear necklace!! And the divine silk organza lilac dress with the transparent top, from "gayle's stash, pewitt" and.. the next item the bias cut slip dress! Wondering about sizing, and shipping....
I love the 70's era unfortunately much of the clothes from that era are Polyester unless it is the higher-end designer pieces! I love the I Magnin label they made so many amazing Disco shirts and dresses!
All the beautiful butterflies 🦋 so great!

I love the faux patchwork dress! and that butterfly necklace 😍
As a woman 'of a certain age' who fully appreciates the breathability and temperature control provided by natural textiles, I really enjoyed your chuckle and comment on the polyester fabric.
So many beautiful pieces. Thank you for showing accessories consistently as well.
I think you have come so far is because your innate niceness shows I find watching you comforting and lol the great clothes
Not only do we respond to your passion, we love your wonderful personality and commentary!
I miss visiting vintage stores and shopping vintage. Thank you for sharing these items, Doris.
I love your video. I learn so much about designers and design. I would love it if you would teach a class on the different designs. You have more knowledge on design than anyone I have every known. I’m a sponge when you speak. Thank you and please keep it up.

My grandmother shopped at I. Magnin. She always looked very chic.
One of the things I like to do to pick myself up is go onto the closet and play with the clothes I have collected the colors and beautiful designs make me happy even if there is no place to go show them off they still make me feel beautiful to have them on I love this channel and what you do to show us how to have some class
Oh Doris, you look so beautiful in your blouse and "longer" hair!
that quilted dress is everything!!!
I think she said it's so quilted fabric and I would kill to get my hands on fabric like that!!!
Thanks for the shout out to your male viewers. I feel that I'm being included. Beautiful collection on your vlog. Love it.
💕 love love love! All those dresses 👗 thank you for sharing
Fun show. I love when you put shows on with so much fun. Thank you.
I think I’m a little jealous of how much you enjoy what you do.
Nice to see you collecting vintage of all kinds and not just name brands. American made and union pieces were sound designs and off labels were gorgeous!

Thank you Doris!. That Patrick Kelly piece ...ugh😍
You do NOT sound like a car salesman, lol!
You sound like lady who loves what you do and loves to share it with others!
❤️
Another great episode. I love how the outfits (wearable art, in my opinion), speak volumes about the time periods and clientele for which they were created. So much history in each garment. Never tire of watching your channel.
Thank you...I live in Montana and you all are simply feeding a deep need...for this almost 61 year old lady.
I dream of visiting Montana and Wyoming! You're so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the country!
@@ringoroll Thank you..5th generation on one side...cold and shovel time..now.

Hi Doris, I'm a fashion designer from Malaysia, its great to watch your channel. Thank you.
I loved all the pieces.
Thank you Doris.
Hello Doris! (Man-fan from Canada)
Love the colorblocked Moschino bag!
That black jacket with green would have been great for the Schitt’s Creek episode. Laura Ashley brings back so many memories! We used to have to go to London to get it or ask someone going over to bring something, anything back 😂
The butterfly dress reminds me of Hanae Mori. I would love an episode featuring Hanae Mori dresses! 🦋
love also the perforations on the moschino bag =]
I am sooo glad I was in the prime of my life in the 70's and 80's and was able to wear similar fashions!! Just wish I would have kept more of my clothing. Great video!!!
That's so cool:))
My friend's Dad designed for I Magnin, His name was Larry Rothchild. I will ask his wife to check this video out. As usual I love the blouse you are wearing!

I have that butterfly necklace DEC!!! Love it and love your videos.
I loved how you cracked yourself up!
Thank you Doris. Really enjoy your fashion adventures. Always loved Laura Ashley and was immediately drawn to that dress!
My favourite was the 1970s wrap dress and faux fur blue jacket. I have been inspired to buy 1970s style clothing from Oxfam. I was a child in the 1970s and some of the fashions . The polyester dress with horrible pattern is very much in fashion as is the slip dress .

NOLA-GURL
Thanks so much! I appreciate your kind and positive feedback.
Love everything!
Thank you Doris and team! You're so right, when you genuinely love what you do, it has integrity. ❤️
These were such fun things to see! Thanks, Doris.
Laura Ashley reminds me of the nostalgic designers but that one was pretty sophisticated, reminds me of the dress from the movie BIG.
Wonderful words of wisdom with what you said at the end of the video about something magical about sharing things with our passion. Your passion shines bright beautiful! ♥️ God bless you and your team
Hi Doris!
Love the accessories.
The lavender 1920s style slip dress with overlay is fabulous!
Thanks for sharing.
I love your videos Doris but the audio in this on really hurt my ears. Your mic was very buzzy today and it was picking up the traffic outside. The green dress is dreamy.

In love with all the 70s pieces! I need that printed dress on the mannequin!
Love goofy doris. ;)
Love all of the pieces! Your themed videos are lovely but these mish-mash hauls are just as fun!
Looooooove the blue fur coat!😍🤩 Thanks for the videos Doris. I just enjoy you so much. Wish you could post more😊
The Jessica McKlintock type dress with the necklace you showed and a pair of tan cowboy boots would be cute.
🤣🤣🤣 on the comments of the horrific horrific fabric (polyester) .... Doris you have jokes !!!!! Love love the channel !!!!!!
I love your show

The Laura Ashley is awesome, so is the orange dress! Vote!

That Valentino ♡♡♡♡
O I would love to purchase that amethyst pear necklace!!
And the divine silk organza lilac dress with the transparent top, from "gayle's stash, pewitt"
and.. the next item the bias cut slip dress! Wondering about sizing, and shipping....
LOL. 1970s polyester is horrific. But you know, if the print is fabulous enough, it’s worth a little discomfort! 😂 Love you Doris.
The blue coat, wow! How much?
Thank you for the video! What size is the bias-cut slip dress, and will it be available in your online shop?
You are appreciated- love your channel. And yes, I also hope everyone is ready to vote in this election!.Remember the glorious RBG!
I love the 70's era unfortunately much of the clothes from that era are Polyester unless it is the higher-end designer pieces! I love the I Magnin label they made so many amazing Disco shirts and dresses!
Pretty dresses..
I enjoy your channel and your spirit, I've been a fan for a while. But remember Doris, voting is a right, not a privilege. Love the furry coat! xx
Is this still in HD? I dont see well...old episodes are done in HD..
lovely
Hello. My mom has the same dress on the second manquin.. But as a table cloth. One other thing, you don't show dresses for fuller size women?
Most people were smaller back then. Rare to find plus sized vintage.
@@ringoroll Hello. Yes they were.
How do you know if things have never been worn? Do you just trust the seller or are there signs that things haven’t been worn?
A majority have the tags attached.
Que linda
Great lipstick color on you today
I think that Valentino dress could be used by Paola Bracho
