I start thinking that Nvidia is going to be some kind of Apple, overpriced - peace of shit. And for now we see only overprice. I hope they will make its stuff cost less, because right now they got a lot of good things and features(drivers and etc. as well), but i simply can't effort it without some trades with other life-important things. So games and powerful-PC stuff always got delay to later. Yet i wish to get something better for GPU(since everything else step by step is updated). And this is where i probably will switch to Intel, but i have some concerns about it.

With frame generation my games were triple digit fps with 3840x1080 widescreen. Another benefit is that Intel updates keep making these cards better. Have mostly played BG3 and Cyberpunk 2077. It's awesome to see more competition in GFX cards market. I think Intel has a big opportunity capture some market share if they can provide gamers with some additional competitive cards. An example would be to release a B780 model (or whatever their top model number is) that would cost around $500, but could chase (matching isn't realistic) the 7900xt and 4070 TI Super for performance. Doing that while beating them on price by $100 to $200 will give them a big advantage. There's a huge amount of market share that's available at the $500 price point, but the current cards just don't offer the value at the price and that where Intel can give the Duopoly a serious black eye.

If someone on a budget can get a 4060, or an Intel GPU that lets them get the best bang for their buck, it does matter. The real growth in the hobby doesn't happen at the top end.

Then again, when it died I had to spend 630€ in a RTX 3070, that still only has 8GB or VRAM.

Launched here this morning in NZ with the major retailer listing them for $516, with the 4060 being $560-600 for comparison. By the time I had watched the reviews and decided to buy one to play around with, they'd sold out completely. There is clearly interest in this price range.

It has Display Port 2.1 which is a huge feature this card has that the 3080 doesn’t. You can drive way higher frame rates at higher resolutions and we’re finally getting into 480 hz oled monitors so the GPUs are next to catch up.

Perfect for me. Looking to upgrade my components slowly. Sadly most reviewers except Linus have left out that it's 10th gen Intel plus so I'm stuck with my 1080 and 8700K until I can afford a platform upgrade. Glad at least one person mentioned it.

I know it's so old but I wish people added the 1080ti to benchmarks like this because it seems whenever i think i'll upgrade my card from it, it seems to perform as good or in some cases better and I realise unless I buy higher flagship cards, it's still putting in work. Used 1080tis are so worth it still and it blows my mind.

The ONLY reason I haven't aught a B580 is that I'm waiting for the £400 card as that's my budget, I'm so excited to see how that B750/770 compares against the 7700/7800xt as that was what I was going to upgrade to

I already have a A750 LE that I got for $180 to basically try out ARC and it’s been good with its hit or miss issues. I used to not be able to use my KVM as the display would constantly flash. That’s since gone away. My other rig is 7900XTX but it’s a 4k living room rig.
If the B700 series comes out and is solid I will go for it. I’m tempted to do B580 just to have but idk.

I was honestly rooting for Moore Threads if they could just spin up an American subsidiary; however they may be named, and produce something competent; whatever that may be. But Intel being the third horse which comes from behind to not only stem their hemorrhaging reputation, but also provide a _solid_ entry-level choice every game _sort of_ supports already with a buff to Xe / HD Graphics is a welcome substitute. Perhaps for CPU stuff, Intel can sort out 15th gen production too.

With the price of more expensive higher-end cards, I would expect the whole thing to be compression-attached with the heatsink being used as the pressure-mounting solution compression attachment needs, so if the VRAM goes bad I can just replace it myself and if there ever is a newer die compatible with the PCB through firmware, replace that rather than buying new cards outright.
