I like nascar, but dirt racing is always phenomenal, wish it was more nationally televised
Definitely, but to be fair it's two different sanctioning bodies, cars have very little in common, big weight differences, racing on different surfaces. Imo, dirt racing is more appealing because of the constant action in every turn as drivers set the car up for the turn, throw slide jobs or just fight for position. The WoO, Lucas Oil, along with regional tracks put on awesome events with a heavy family atmosphere, also WoO, Lucas drivers are incredibly talented. I see a Nascar race at like a SuperSpeedway, 1 mile track or Road Course is more like a Chess game, where they have to play defense & stay out of trouble. Along with setting themselves up in position to be near the front at the end of the race, ultimatly being strategic about when to turn up the heat & get aggressive to get the win! LOL

He's great I'll admit that, but up until the spin that ruined any average finish argument Ricky Thorton Jr. has been the fastest and led the most laps. If it weren't for last lap passes he'd have multiple wins.
@@thameholland2769 100% agree, when you start on the front row it’s easy to win, I’ve yet to see Davenport start behind 5th place and win.

@@beliedat2457 Yep, I am a 57 year old kid. You should see me at the grocery store laying rubber It's not in my blood to have someone in front of me without trying to pass... my wife has gotten used to it
@@Living_EDventures Yep, and I've hated every time that happens. I just love, love, love it when the bottom feeder gets passed by the guy on the top! Did you see how the 2nd place guy had to duck back in because he didn't want to see if he could have enough speed to pass for the win. Nah... I'll just settle for 2nd.... 👨🦽
@Lil Ol Me There is not always grip on the top. I'd think you would know that if you watch alot of dirt track racing.

Ya obviously didn't watch the races from Golden Isle. 49 wasn't even in contention. He's good, but there are several that will make him work for the title this year.
