Do you happen to know the pulley nut size? I need to replace the whole thing.

I’ve broken one of the ears on the front pulley doing it this way. Sometimes they are way seized.

Good point. I adjusted mine today and luckily it was very easy to turn.

I used a giant 24 crescent wrench and a brass drift because it was stubborn. Worked like a charm. Never had or used the proper tools, I've been told they break easy tho.

Could a loose belt or bad air pump cause the transfer case to not fully engage? I have a 1956 m35a2 grinding noise from the transfer case only the rear set of dullys are only working and the noise goes away with the clutch depressed. Otherwise the truck runs like a top. By the way the wipers, soft brakes and air horn do not work please advise thanks,Chris.
