He was suppose to fall slowly but john krasinski accidentally hit the right spot on the seam which caused it to pop unexpectedly and yes john laughed covering his mouth. I read all about this in an article and its great

All previous 12 deflated slowly (as which is also expected and written in the script). Both the directors and actors are satisfied with the previous shots and believed they had what they wanted for that scene. But then they thought, what do we do with this last ball? So they took an extra shot anyway. And that is this shot where the ball exploded unexpectedly and John kinda broke but the scene is too funny and they actually used it for the final cut.
i love how dwight in the blink of an eye forgets his need for revenge (aka telling michael), when jim says "COLDER...". he just couldn't let the temptation for a challenge slip past him.
They really got every little thing that happens in an office. The “ergonomic desks lol” & we even had a Jim & a Dwight except our Dwight had no redeeming qualities.
Michael is an ideal boss anybody would ever want to have. He may be stupid at times , but has the highest level of compassion and humanity. The character portrayal is fantastic.
It has reached the point where I can close my eyes and watch the office just though the verbal dialogue, and fully picture the scene at hand 😂 is this bad, my parents seem to think so, I personally think it’s a party trick
It really made the hours fly by, just listening to downloaded Office episodes on Netflix while I drove through 8 states! I didn't even feel a little tempted to peep the screen because I can see it all in my head.
