This show was absolutely genius. It seems so simple on the surface, but is so relatable to those that have worked in such an environment. The characters cover all personality types that others can relate to.
He was suppose to fall slowly but john krasinski accidentally hit the right spot on the seam which caused it to pop unexpectedly and yes john laughed covering his mouth. I read all about this in an article and its great

the above comments were all right but just adding to that, according to the office ladies podcast, they prepared total of 13 balls for that scene. All previous 12 deflated slowly (as which is also expected and written in the script). Both the directors and actors are satisfied with the previous shots and believed they had what they wanted for that scene. But then they thought, what do we do with this last ball? So they took an extra shot anyway. And that is this shot where the ball exploded unexpectedly and John kinda broke but the scene is too funny and they actually used it for the final cut.
They really got every little thing that happens in an office. The “ergonomic desks lol” & we even had a Jim & a Dwight except our Dwight had no redeeming qualities.
It has reached the point where I can close my eyes and watch the office just though the verbal dialogue, and fully picture the scene at hand 😂 is this bad, my parents seem to think so, I personally think it’s a party trick
It really made the hours fly by, just listening to downloaded Office episodes on Netflix while I drove through 8 states! I didn't even feel a little tempted to peep the screen because I can see it all in my head.

Michael is an ideal boss anybody would ever want to have. He may be stupid at times , but has the highest level of compassion and humanity. The character portrayal is fantastic.
I like 9:00 where you see Kevin make Angela laugh, it seems so out of character for Angela that it might be genuine. Although it's likely just an early season before Angela became the world biggest prude. Nice to see though.

Seeing how jim and pam work together without even communicating in the last one makes me think I'll never find love. The fact that they're not even together yet beats the feeling further into me. Anyways happy holidays :))
