Making The Rattlesnake Rolling Pin

A video showing you how to make a rattlesnake themed rolling pin from maple, cherry and walnut woods. I am using a 1964 Shopsmith as a lathe in this video to woodturn the rolling pin. A fun woodworking project.

What was the thickness of the pin? I'm surprised you didn't get those nasty swirls that are the bane of long and thin turned pieces.
