There was a sad story behind this, when they where building this in the 60's it was going to flood many native american homes, schools, stores so they forced them to move out they burned down home and forced the natives to move there fore breaking George Washingtons peace tready. months after it flooded the reminents of burned down buildings, schools, houses, stores. After thatt years after all there is was roads one called "old road". All there is left to see now is trees reminents of buildings.
Only been to Kinzua Dam one time. I remember the great afternoon our family spent at the beach shown in this video. Gotta get back there…
