  • Overcoming Unworthiness: Trusting Your Inner Gold - A Guided Inquiry with Tara Brach
Disclaimer: this exchange was recorded and used with permission.
In this powerful guided inquiry, Tara Brach addresses the deep-seated feelings of unworthiness that many of us carry. Drawing from the Buddha’s teachings, Tara emphasizes the importance of investigation on the spiritual path, guiding us to trust our inner gold-the innate goodness and wisdom within us.
In this session, recorded during Tara’s weekly Satsang/Live Q&A, you’ll explore:
▪️How to bring a wise and healing attention to personal and societal challenges
▪️Practices that help uncover and trust your inherent worth
▪️The significance of Satsang, a gathering of spiritual friends, in realizing truth and supporting each other on the path to awakening
Join the Satsang: The word “Satsang” comes from Sanskrit, with “sat” meaning truth and “sangha” meaning community. This series invites you to explore and realize truth in the supportive company of spiritual friends.

Thank you Steph for your courage and vulnerability. You are not alone. We are all one. Many of us are walking this path “alone” yet we are being guided and supported by many who we cannot necessarily see/touch. You are loved.

Thank you Tara and thank you Steph for sharing your vulnerability. I myself among countless others have been feeling unworthy and not good enough which doesn't help my BPD.
There needs to be more people on this earth like Tara. She has been my flicker of light in times of despair and vast darkness. When there isn't any videos for a couple of weeks from Tara I get worried and long for her compassionate wisdom and guidance. Thank you Tara, you have touched the heart's of many✌

This was such a beautiful and poignant sharing, thank you. I will listen to this as often as possible when I feel triggered, overwhelmed and dysregulated. I really resonate with this young lady as I too was adopted. I do have loving adoptive parents but they also weren't available for me at times when I really needed them. I was sent to boarding school at 8 years old and that further impacted upon my implicit memory of abandonment. Some of us have been through so much, and despite well meaning others or even a life viewed as being relatively comfortable, it can be so hard to function in a society that is so deeply traumatised. Thank you Tara for helping us see that we are not broken, there is hope, and that are greatest pain and wounds can be our greatest teachers. Namaste 🙏 💖

Lorna Byrne's meditations with angels I find supportive too. Helps if visualisation is difficult for one. Thank you Tara and Steph for sharing. Aging is beautiful as self love is there and seen to have always been there. You are never alone as Divinity resides within. We are all worthy of our soul light being lit.

It's like this heaviness in my demeanor, a sadness, that I get, and my thoughts get very negative about myself and the world, and it's so true to call it a trance because that's what it feels like. A feeling of unworthiness a disconnect and unlovable etc.. With fear and anxiety mixed in...And I feel the exact same way as this woman explains it, and can relate 100% that is me, had my issues strong got through but vulnerable. And thank you Tara for this video, the tears came rolling down listening to this lady.. God bless...

Thank you so much for sharing!!! Unworthiness is the running theme of my story, also. N it feels like if I can't move past it, I'm gonna lose opportunities... But, I'm not going to lie to people bout what I'm facing. In a bit of slump again after entertaining the masses with my backyard rants. Uber-annoyed that I can't figure out how to make money off my story, though it feels like everyone else sure has... I'm never giving up on my visions, but It's frustrating at times to not SEE progress on the outside, yet know you've changed on the inside!!! Thanks for letting me vent, Dear Readers!!!

I became so aware of the importance of inquiry and opening to honesty with unmet needs ,conscious sometimes I still feel responsible for and ashamed of this, it is truly a path of healing that needs patience and self compassion, Steph sensed your own “putting it out there” and honour this, reminder of daily practice value too 🙏🏽🌻
