Hii, thank you and yes it is a great bike. I bought the motorcycle bundle of Insta 360 brand itself. It comes with multiple mounting accessories such as bear claw mount, extension stick and helmet mount. Very cool. BTW, do you think the vibration is quite severe? Even the windshield shakes at idle, which is my observation after a month of GS trophy riding.
It is strange but I don't feel the vibration....I have done about 11k kms so far on it. There must be something adding onto vibration that needs to be found. Also windshield doesn't shake on mine. There will always be minor rumbling but not really annoying type of vibration.
Hi, I'm new to the BMW 1250 GS. What is a good RPM range to cruise in like on back roads? Is 4-5k RPM too high or is that is when the bike is happy? Would love some advice, the shift light seems to want me to shift wayyy too low RPMs.
Hi Scotty, firstly welcome to the GS family. The bike is happy at all the range of rpm regardless of the gear. What I mean by this is the shift cam technology allows uniform power delivery at all rpm's, so the shift recommendation will be shown depending on your upshift pattern. Ex. If you start shifting at 3k, then at every 3k, it asks for upshift. If you start shifting at 6 to 7k, then at every 6 to 7k, it will ask to upshift. In traffic, you could be in 60 to 70kmph and still in 6th gear. In the freeways, you could be in 1st ot 2nd gear when you cross 60kmph and go all the way upto 140+ when it asks for 6th gear upshift. Power delivery and torque being uniform across the range of rpm, thanks to shift cam tech. Masterpiece of machine engineering.
I own a 2023 gs adventure. I asked the owner of Hansen BMW here in southern Oregon one of the oldest BMW shops around about that light. He said that was actually indicating optimal fuel consumption and not telling me to shift. Hope that helps.
@@brahmdeschaux6236 It does thank you! For a bike that redlines at 9k RPM, to have to shift at 4k RPM all the time or less, NOT lol. I cruise between 4-5k rpm all day. Love this bike. I almost got the XR1000 however, it wasn't as comfortable.
Very Nice😊😊;
Thank you!!
You will be missed dear R1250 GSA😢
