Yes it‘s True; you don’t need any music in your videos. It’s a pleasure to listen to you and when you say anything, it’s also magic and meditative to watch you at work. Ciao
This is the only channel I've been sharing for years now with people, whenever I am making a point that certain artists can paint photorealistic art. I know you may never read this comment but you're truly gifted MJS ❤ One of your early subscribers
You always make realistically looking water and you make it look so easy. That's why you are such a great painter. Thank you so very much for all that you do to help us.
There you are! Always a delight to actually SEE you again, the face and frame behind the long piano fingers. I hafta rewatch ye older videos to rerun your humor side... you've become so serious and business-like as your hair greys. Me I'm more daffy 😂 with my silvered look I'm told. Aye, that's exactly how water looks, the swirlies and how deftly the comber brush creates them! I'm entranced to attempt the same! I like this whole painting... I absorb each drop of color and stroke as if tasting each molecule of tea. Each video I watch is caffeine, sending me to me blank canvas pile with vigor. I'll NEVER regret the moment I metcha SirMikey. Your character and singing paintings mesh refreshing me own brushings. Gratitude my best friend, gratitude. 🤠
PS: on Instagram you just posted a most awesome waterfall, I don't remember if you posted it to TH-cam. Did you? For I surely would like to paint that one. Most different! ❤🤠
Wow, you are so detailed. Thank you for this lesson. I may have to get my magnifying glasses to paint the tiny detail you’ve shown me. But , oh how it makes the painting real. I could climb into the painting and walk in that water.
I've been picking up so many tips from you! I have found that you are indeed the artist that can take my work to the next level. Thank you for sharing!
I am retired and I have always wanted to paint. I watched this video and you inspired me. Thank you I subscribed already. Thank you for teaching your gift to us. I am looking forward to more videos
I love watching you add so many details in your work! I’m currently doing a painting will have trees in the background, and some small trees in the foreground, so I will attempt to scale up my detail on the trees in the foreground, to give depth to my painting. It’s always a learning experience when you paint water as well. I have ye to really tackle water on the same level you achieve.
OMG MICHAEL!! I haven't watched your videos since your 2nd school started. I joined the 1st school and became a much better painter. My computer is too old to join the 2nd school so I gave up on painting.. seeing you paint again...OMG!!! You are so talented!!! I have an iPad so I might try to join again. WOW!!! You are blessed!!! 13:47
Thank you for continuing this painting and sharing how you do the water. You are an incredible artist and I feel so blessed that you created your online school.
QUE HERMOSO SIEMPRE VER TU VIDEOS ,ME GUSTA VERTE Y COMO LLEVAS LA ESPLICACION DE CADA PROCESO DEL CUADRO , LA VERDAD YA HACE 8 AÑOS QUE TE ESTOY SIGIENDO ,ME GUSTA EL PROCESO DE PINTADO Y COMO IR APLICANDO PARA PODER APLICARLO EN NOSOTROS ,GRACIAS POR ESTAR COMPARTIENDO CON NOSOTROS,❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Normally i just have a painting video on in the background while I’m painting, but i happened to be working on a commission that has a river and grass and something just clicked in the way you explained things and before the end of the video it looked better already! :)
Hi Michael, I tried ur few paintings in acrylic and it comes out really best. Tough its bit difficult but i really loved it. Thank you for ur wonderful tips, i try to incorporate in acrylics.. 😊😊
Your paintings are amazing, I don't know how you see where to block in color! Are you painting from a picture or your mind. I love to paint but have never had lessons. You are so detailed. Keep Painting😊
This is REALLY going to help me with my Kingfisher painting. I've been trying to show improvement with each of my more recent paintings and ha e been stuck on how to do the clear stoney river. Is there a previous video of how you started the river from the beginning? Also, in mine, the water is shallower than this, so how do I show the rocks brighter colours?
Hello Mr. Michael, Hope you are well. It is the first time for me to comment of your paintings. My name is Hamoud Al- Ward. I am from a part of the world that is called Yemen. You might not heard of it. Anyhow I strongly believe that your paintings are one of the most fascinating paintings I have ever seen and I indeed leaarnt a lot and I really adopt your paintings in my oil paintings. I love watching your vedios. Please keep going ahead.
Just got through painting a creek water scene very similar and started off with a totally opaque reflection area just like this and it did not look real, as I have studying creek water of late and found that even the brightest reflections still have a measure of transparency to them.
Hello, good afternoon, it is impressive to see how you paint, I have already bought some brushes from you and they are going very well, in fact I have to buy some brushes from you again. I would like you to make a video of how you mix your paints so that the colors come out so bright and attractive. I make all kinds of mixtures of yellows with blues, etc. with liquin linseed oil solvents and the colors come out very transparent and I see how you make the foliage with those colors and how they slide so well on your brushes. Could you show us how you use these tricks. Thank you so much
Hi Michael, Fran here watching you do your thing. You still have it. Mozart of the art world. Have a. Drink on me. Would like to hear from you again. Had my 90th birthday last month. Cheers Michael
