We farm with the classic IH stuff ourselves with only or main combine and our front wheel assist are Case IH, our biggest tractor is a IH 2+2 3788 for peat sakes. But we are different from other people cause we keep all of our equipment nice, we wash and wax almost all our equipment by hand that’s why I kind of questioned that cause that’s the way.

These combines may look like they're good yet, but chances are they're high hour machines that likely have been parted out a bit already. I don't think some people realize how many of them are used up and just sitting in the yards. Heck, even here in Wisconsin just a couple miles from me there's 70+ in one yard alone. Plus, most of the parts people need, are already worn out on these machines, and the parts that are good, are the ones that don't wear out...
Australia does donate old tractors to other countries, as they can be fitted in to containers for transport, but that can't be done with a header and so they go out in a blaze of glory in front of the crowd before being melted down.
