I wish video for every industry were this good. I'll be measuring indoor air humidity for a chronic lung issue and I'm super thankful for this clear and frank review!

My Govee H5074 was $10.99 on Amazon, I tested for 2 days with a 75% Boveda calibration kit. Per Boveda's documentation the kit is actually 75.5% and the Govee was EXACTLY 75.5% I also cross checked this with an Oasis Caliber IV hydrometer. Govee temperature is low by 3 tents of a degree (0.3) Impressive.

Here's a trick if you want the SensorPush: buy used. They're cheap and plentiful. I have a 4 of them all bought from eBay around my house. They're perfect.

I have inkbird, govee, thermoPro and sensorpush, but often have problems. Among them, I like inkbird's IBS-TH5, which is cute, smart and accurate, with an ink screen and weather display. A little more expensive, but very reassuring!

I was very disappointed with Boveda Butler. I calibrated as instructed but always SIGNIFICANTLY higher reading than actual RH. Good concept that doesn’t work. Don’t get it! Called Boveda for help/replacement but would not help.

If you have a spare android or iOS device that can run the Boveda app - you could use that as a bridge to upload the sensor data into the cloud and monitor it from all over the world. I guess one can find a cheap android phone/tablet for around 100 bucks to do the trick. Don't know if Boveda added this software feature after this video was made - but it's possible by now.
Not to blame halfwheel by any means - just a little tidbit of information ;)

I'm wondering if I could use Roku or a firestick to download the app. Any thoughts?

If I'm a slave to the machine, Boveda loses already. I have data since the moment we put the SensorPush units in. If a person's time has value, the SensorPush is the clear winner. Wherever I am, I can check what's going on with the units. We have several, and they are the clear winner.

Can you export the data for either of these into a CSV or a spreadsheet?

sensorpush ht.w has "export to CSV"

They both have operating ranges, so no specific tool for uber accurate RHs. The Boveda is also no longer for sale. - CM.

I think you need to allow the settings to adjust after accessing the app

I hope people realise that after the automated 75% one step calibration, the unit self-adjusts itself.
