I seriously hope this epic video brings in a lot of tourists and FILLS UP Gary's hotel! If I were in the US, I'd definitely be taking a road trip there!
So, my home state is North Dakota, and I die on the inside when I hear people say there's nothing there worth visiting. There is, oh there is. Thank you, Justin for visiting my home state and finding the hidden gems we have amazing! I don't know where else you stopped, but I hoped you enjoyed your time here!
That's what I like about you Justin. You travel to some very unique places and go down the road less traveled. I find your video's refreshing. You dont go to the same place day in and day out I really appreciate you. Keep doing what you're doing. Don't let julio boss you araound!
That's the greatest hotel I've ever seen. I'd rather stay there than in the best penthouse suite in Vegas or anywhere. And all that giant art is so great.
This is awesome marketing to bring tourists with this amazing artwork. North Dakota and Alaska are the only two states that I have not been to. Gary's Castle Hotel looks amazing, converted from the old high school. Amazing real gym and tavern! This could end up making a growing town. Seeing this will bring me there for sure. Thank you for sharing.
I have been waiting and hoping for the day you would make it to our little slice of amazing here in ND, depending on the direction you go many towns in ND tend to have very large sculptures of animals. to help draw people in to stop and stretch their legs. some examples are the world's largest buffalo, the world's largest cow, the world's largest walleye and many more.
What a fun day! Too bad Ally couldn't have experienced it all with you!! You find the coolest places to visit!!! I hope it wont take you too long to get to Alaska & learn to fish, you'll love it! Great video, Justin!!! 👍👍
I've been to 49 States too (Alaska to go)!!! My parents used to take the entire family on cross-country trips every Summer for up to 2 months. We'd trek from CA all the way to FL, to Vermont, Canada, all the way to back to CA. Every trip would be a different route. My Dad always said the USA was such a beautiful country with so much to see. Why go anywhere else? He did serve in 3 wars WWII,Korea and Vietnam) and been all over the world.
I have been enjoying your videos over the last few years, but you have really stepped it up the last week. Your editing and voices ar3 amazing. I just want to get in my car and take off. Thank you for sharing all the noncommercial sites. Keep it up
Hi Justin, Fun show about the Enchanted Highway. If you travel to the Canada/US border to visit the International Peace Garden, you might need your passport to get back into the United States. It looks from maps like the IPG is accessible only between border guard stations. Cheers
I can't believe you made it into the hotel and stay to show us! That is absolutely awesome! We did the highway back in 2021. We saw the castle, but it was closed. I would love to stay here! Thanks for sharing. It's very cool 😎
Justin, by far this is your best vlog. What a great artist to create all that fantastic art along the highway. I want to visit this great state next year
Oh my. I’m catching up on older videos and I while I am always grinning and smiling at Justin’s videos, this one made me laugh out loud more than once. That, and well, Julio, are hard to beat.
Dude - long time viewer, rare commenter. Just wanted to say that you are the best there is at this. I watch a lot of vloggers, most of whom you know and I used to enjoy a lot. Now, I find myself skipping a lot of their vlogs because it's the same thing day after day: Theme parks, sports, conventions, etc. Or, and this is my own cross to bear, I can't stand it when people mispronounce or misuse simple words. I was a radio announcer for like 30 years, and being from SW Virginia, I had some serious language issues (Accent, pronunciations et al) to overcome before I could evolve in said career. So, I find myself correcting people a lot. Basically, devolving into a troll, when I'm just trying to help. The point here is that, with you it's always such a variety of places and topics. AND! (HUGE bonus to me), I have never Once yelled at my TV when you used improper language or got a word wrong!! Of all the vloggers I watch, you are the only one I subscribe to. I wish all vloggers would take this as seriously as you, and actually work to put out content of your caliber. You're the best, man! I appreciate your efforts and intellect greatly.
wow this story is so awsome and it is SO COOL to see a highschool turned into a castle hotel, tavern, steakhouse! Thank you for taking the time to travel there, make the video, and do tedious editing.
I smiled, laughed, did an OMG face sooooo many times! Thank you thank you thank you thank you! You are a fabulous creative. Your enthusiasm is infectious. Been watching you for years now and you never disappoint. Epic win on this one. 😊
I love the video! Where is his scar? How did he become scarred? Is he also scared? Justin Scared? What is a horse shoe? What does a horse shoe do… are there any horse socks?
That Air Force truck is an old deicer … airplane picks up ice in the clouds and precip or on the ground, before departure they get in the bucket and spray heated glycol on it to melt the ice.
The panels are the leftovers from a plasma cutting torch C & C machine. The plate is what is leftover after you cut out the shapes in the plate of steel. So, they are making recycled fencing.
The Grasshoppers remind me of, "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids." Gary is a true VISIONARY!!! I wish he had an online store for his smaller creations. What a great episode.

Gary is an epic in himself. What talent and immense undertaking.
I hope all of Gary's work wasn't in vain. It is so cool and interesting, but its so far off the beaten path. Thank you for sharing with us Justin!

All those metal sculptures and the enchanted castle were amazing and it was great that you got to meet the man who made it all possible
I thoroughly amused and impressed by how Justin edits multiple of himself interacting with each in the video. It's fantastic.
Thanks Justin. This reminds me of being a kid in my parents station wagon going to road side treats on a Sunday afternoon.
I hope N. Dakota or that town is working on a statue of that man! INCREDIBLE!

Thank you, Justin! This is Americana and your humor and enthusiasm makes it all the better. Great stuff!!!

He was here a couple of weeks before Justin. Had to look to see who did the first video because Scott said "gargantuan"!

This place looks to be a real treasure that it seems like too few people know about. EDIT: This is one of the coolest hotels I've ever seen.

i agree ..he is very good...i think it is the research he puts into a place prior to visiting and filming. it makes you feel more like you are there.
@@vickiechandler3112 i always learn something from Justin.

I think you may bring Gary some business!!
That was was a grand trip full of fun pics!! did you really sleep in a huge hotel by yourself, or just camp back in your van for safety??
Well, you're right; that was pretty impressive! But I still think you should come to Lindsborg, Ks. sometime! ; )
Next stop Jamestown = World's largest Bison
A good small slice of North Dakota, I loved it the first time I went
Those, "Ride-On," Grasshoppers there, I'm betting were intended for someone more a weight of up to 30 Pounds, Not 130 Pounds Or More!!
I was lucky to be able to visit. It is a cool place
It’s like a liminal space hotel 😅
#YESTHEORY did an excellent video in N Dakota a top video and a top place to visit
Ok, anybody with money to travel, got to go here!
Looks like each room is an ex-classroom
And to view 😮
Alaska but Hawaii is also part by America? (sorry i am not so good geopraphic.)
He has been to Hawaii. I don't think there is a video but he's said he has been. But yes you are correct. It is part of the U.S.
You should schedule a met up at Gary's hotel he would appreciate the business
How did you not get a custom Gary Randomland sign?!?!
You need to come to Texas next year June 7-9 to dallas fan days and bring bret iwan I like to meet you at
There's a Castle hotel in the back roads of Kentucky...
