I love how excited you get about things that I would otherwise pass by and go "Oh, that's neat" but not investigate further. It great seeing Route 66 with you.

You seem to be up and running on full throttle again, so full of energy and enthusiasm, Those roadside signs are just amazing, nothing at all like it over here in UK, and that car museum was epic, and 28 route 66's. I'm never likely to see this highway in person so I'm so pleased that you put so much information and great photography into each and every episode.

That car museum was awesome, and the the hotel? Beyond!!
Fantastic renovation by that couple. Reminds me of my childhood, staying at smaller hotels in the 70s. Pool tiles in the shower; nice touch. All the little things like the paper over the cups and across the toilet....

I once had the honor to test drive a 1952 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 in El Segundo, Ca. That thing was a step back in time. We almost bought it too... sadly it had some problems that were a bit too high dollar to fix up and the owner was asking for way too much.

I remember my family had a TOMS vending machine like that in their service station. Wish I still had it, and the glass bottle coke machine too. My first car was a 1967 350 GT mustang fastback (Red) in 1989. My brother had a 1966 mustang coupe (Gold) w/ pony interior. My Dad sold it to my uncle in Huntington Beach Cali. a few years ago. If u r ever in Savannah Ga. look up the Thunderbird Hotel. You would love it. It also has RC Cola and Moon Pies.

The modernistic architecture you are referring to (with the "chevrons") is called "Googie". Somewhere along the line people decided it was ugly, dated or what-have-you and either torn it down or tried to hide it. But I think it reflects an optimism sorely lacking in today's society. Anything was possible back then. It makes me smile whenever I see it. Thanks for doing an intelligent and thoughtful vlog! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Googie_architecture

Theatres and museums opening! Oh my! More to look forward to! That will be so neat for the next time you do a route 66 trip to go through the newly made museum! And the theatre apparently will open sometime this year!
The blue hole looks absolutely magical!
Look at those cars!! The oldest car I've ever sat in on the road was a 1957 or 1958 Mustang. I don't know HOW my friend's dad got his hands on it, but he had it for yeeears even before I was born. It's now ..well.. um. Gone, they either sold it or trashed i have no idea. But it was one heck of a ride, it was so loud! Like a monster!
Loved the ending! Your enthusiasm is as contagious as mine! Those were pretty sweet stuff! The pin was gorgeous! Another great upload, We can't wait for the next upload! :)
